Amazing video! Thanks so much for this.
Especially the follow up options after a successful punish on 1,1,2 which I use all the time. I play more a defensive style and in red ranks atm but I find it really hard to continue my offense, due to lack of knowledge of frames mostly I think. But I also don't know how to open my offense in the neutral so at least after a punish will give me a foot in the door.
The alternate 1,1, d+1 was also something I hadn't considered so this is a good nugget but I'll have to break my habit to auto 1,1,2 after things I'm not sure about.
Another setup on the 112 punish is if they block your duck 1, and they spam 1(or I believe any high attack) you can get a back 2 that puts you +14, which guarantees sonic fang, or any sub +14 attack. Back 2 is punishable so this is another read based setup

Disclaimer for beginners:-
I'd advise beginners not to play Steve. Very difficult character who in the past had a good return but overtime near the end of Tekken 7 the devs just said let's just kill him. In T8 after nerfs there's very diminished returns.
For now just play Xiaoyu Dragonov Azucena Feng Jun because low high whose best Korean steve and heera Malik whose the best Steve in the world have been struggling with the character despite being such excellence players. Even these guys barely manage to land the heat moves even against complete rookies. Against advanced players they get murdered I.e low high Steve vs Jeonndding Azucena.
If you dont believe me look up heera playing a Xiaoyu main and look at the illegal amounts of dmg Xiaoyu can do in this game.
This is an amazing guide!! This is exactly what I was looking for and no one has made it
Ответитьi''ve seen many steve guide but this one is by far the best
