I just had a whole bunch of dallisgrass pop up in my tall fescue lawn. Is the best option to take a day and rip in all out?

Some Northerners like me would like to know why wild Bermuda seems to be such the enemy? If you can’t fight it, embrace it and just grow wild Bermuda lawns. What are the drawbacks ?

Riding E bikes is cheating. You need to use your own horsepower.

Bahia is a junk grass in my opinion. Always to thin and full of weeds. All it’s good for is pasture grass for feeding cattle.

Is there a way I can provide some lawn pics to you for advice???

I have Zeon Zoysia (7 years) that has been quite good year after year. I am beginning to get some large dead spots. And am worried it’s gonna continue till I lose my yard.

Help?

FYI - I have been a purchaser of YM products …

Just a suggestion they should probably rake the dead spots, open up the turf to promote new growth, it has worked for me, I'm in Texas and our St. Augustine goes dormant in the winter and has helped tremendously in the spring to help fill in faster

What a difference rain does. In Tampa we didn't get any rain till June 11th, normally we get our summer thunderstorms around June 1st. My water bill for May tripled hand watering daily, just to keep the St Augustine above drying/dying.

I have nothing against you sir. The reason why I continued to sub was because you showed me the ways of lawn domination. But being from Illinois, most of your content since you moved isn't really hitting the mark with me. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for what you are doing currently and also the mentorship you have given many people. I don't normally do long dramatic exit posts, I don't actually comment ever, but felt expressing my appreciation before leaving was warranted. Good luck on your future endeavors sir, and thanks for teaching some many of us cool season doods how to throwerdahwn!
