We’re destroying the previous society, establishment/company and culture by reengineering the entire structure, breaking long established traditions and ways of being, eliminating all exceptions, and disguising it all under the cloud of progress. Or to use the current wave's vernacular terminology DEI, this wave has almost left the old paradigm of progress and profit. While DEI has made a pretence at being more efficient and logical, in actuality it isn’t both theoretically, and practically. DEI has far more in common with communism and Marxism, than it does with capitalism, and any kind of social progress.
With the comprehensive dominance of universities and now all educational facilities, science, scientific method, and scientific principles are now being subverted. And being increasingly driven by woke political, ideological & doctrinal pressures.

At the end of the Woke crusade supposedly stands society's utopia, but instead stands the collapse of our entire enlightened society. Modernity and its current Woke crusade is incapable of taking time for introspection, to repair and amend its many flawed, unreliable and mistaken premises that drive it. Instead it leaps, schizophrenic, unhinged from one imagined crusade to the next. All the while tearing down the very society that gave it its power.
Modernity has spoiled entitled rich kid syndrome in that it takes credit for things it did not create, produce. And feels it has all of the answers to challenges that not only are frivolous, and unimportant, but in many cases do not even exist.

The modern world, the woke/leftist/bureaucracy (Postmodernists) have become resentful when the actual reality does not fit into its/their arbitrary logical system.

Our culture does not hate itself. (We the populace within our culture) have been and are being told (by our The Globalist Neo Liberal order/leftist/woke elite class) to hate ourselves.
There is an immeasurable difference.

What we're seeing is the gradual slip of the US into an oligarchy. Billionaires achieved to capture the political system via donations and media ownership.

Trump increased the national debt worse than any "liberal activist". Also, debt is not created by "spending tax dollars". Tax dollars are created by creating debt, or is there some hidden stash of dollars somewhere where they all come from? It's fiat currency created by the Fed.
The recent inflation was also not caused by spending, but largely by supply shortages. If it wasn't, it wouldn't have come down when trillions of dollars are spent on infrastructure and inflation reduction.

Whilst I don’t agree with all the guests you have on your platform, or with some of the commentary you overlay I will have to say that this is a great institution. What a terrific essay to summarise the situation in the geopolitical space we find ourselves and I 100% agree that an aggressive and adversarial policy towards China is NOT in our national interest. I worry deeply that we might find ourselves in the same position as Ukraine does.

When will you people realize that the old idea of America fell today and western democracy with it? Will it be when they start rounding up Latino's and anyone else they don't like and put them in camps will that make you think Trump and his Christofascist cronies are a problem. Or when he brings in his federal abortion ban, hundreds of thousands of women will die. Or will it be when he ends Obama care and millions lose their health coverage? Or when seniors become homeless because Trump has taken the money out of the social security systems to fund his tax cuts for billionaires? Will the deaths of hundreds of thousands be enough for you when RFK Jr bans vaccines, stops water treatment and allows big corporations to pollute the environment? Will it be when climate change gets to a point where fires and cyclones ravage our country every year, and thousands die of heat stroke too? Will it be when Trump gives Ukraine to Russia? Or he refuses to hand over the nuclear submarines we need for our defense? What if China gets a free hand in the Indo-Pacific? Where does that place Australia? This man is nothing more than a paid asset of Putin and probably Xi! But people like you don't care. America just elected the Christian Taliban and you are all celebrating. It boggles the mind.
Now that Trump is in for a second term, I really hope he goes full throttle at implementing his agenda! I hope he acts on every bad impulse he has! I hope that every one of his minions carry out every single one of his edicts to the letter with gusto and cool efficiency. There are no guard rails now. There are no adults in the room. There is no control over what he can and can't do. When your leader has that power, it used to be called authoritarian, totalitarian or dare I say it, fascist.

Nice video Tom. It would be useful to recognise that although Trump understands the problems of his base, he does not have a policy recipe for addressing those problems. Moreover, if gives tax cuts to the rich, it will only worsen the lives of his base. A major issue is that his base seems to fall for his narrative, even though he has no solutions for their problems.

Trump’s election will be the major tool to hasten the dwindling of US super power status and handing over the industrial and technological edge to China while its leverage in Middle East and Europe to Russia and few leading European nations

I agree with this analysis, as a “democratic,”voter the identity politics, poor enforcement of laws including immigration and securing the southern border of the US, and Biden simply being not fit for the job and Kamala to be a continuation of more of Biden’s policies, I could only vote for Trump, do I think he is a good example of what a president should be??? Not exactly…but how many past American presidents spoke eloquently all while selling the American public out.
