John Wick killing hundreds of people while they all miss him or chose hand to hand combat versus shooting him is beyond ridiculous; body count is so unrealistic.

That's not the best setup scene to me. The best setup scene is where he calls Arelio and says! "I heard you struck my son." Arelio says he did because he stole John Wicks car and killed his dog, and the head of the Russian mobs response is only to say, "oh," then hang up. That response told you all you needed to know about John if you've ever heard even rumors about how ruthless the Russian mob can be.

I love you Joe and I love Keanu but the sad fact is we root for John wick because our society is ill

First movie is cool as hell... number 2 is meh. 3 is absolutely dogshit

While I agree with what's said here I think the scene where he calls the chop shop to confront the shop owner about striking his son was way more impact full.

And Mikael Nykvist is so great in that role of a Russian mobster 🤓

Rome was another great HBO series. John Wick is one of the few movies that get better in the sequels.

John Wick was a villain. This is the story of a worst type of a vilian among other lesser villains. He is not cool, this is what a brain looks like , brainwashed by Hollywood. Skills of killing is killing. Gangster against gangster, can’t be hero, in no one’s story. Secondly, how ridiculously he kills people? It’s dumb enough. And it’s not human.

It wants to be a B movie yet it has hight budget and Soap level drama in it.

I like the first movie. I thought they got progressively worse!

With all due respect to Keanu, the John Wick character is essentially created and framed by Mikael Nyqvist's (RIP) brilliant performance. There's some excellent writing there, which is often overlooked, but Nyqvist takes it to another level.

Huh. Russian Special Police Force did something similar recently to a terrorist. They caught 4 of them and apparently fed one of them his own ear (Per International News Reports about the Apparently Brutal Beatings these terrorists got once captured). John Wick is a “shadow self” fantasy.
Though John did bad things, he was a good person who escaped his dark life until it dragged him back.
Then this good man utilized his shadow self on a quest for revenge.

It is not the lines it is the pauses between the lines.

The 1st one, the sequels suck.

I know a lot of people hate Bert Kreischer for a lot of different reasons. I absolutely hate him because of how infuriatingly/disgustingly loud his mouth noises are while on a podcast microphone. Why the hell does it sound so "sticky"? It sounds like a starving pig eating its first meal in days 😡🤬

It’s not revenge that’s he’s after, it is not what we’re rooting for either but rather a point to those who think they can get away with…..

It’s sexy and awesome cuz it’s contained in that world, he doesn’t go and kill some random dude on the street, everyone killed or trying to kill wick is part of the world
