The mobile version of mudrunner is VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR A MOBILE GAME! Just got the game before yesterday (3 years later!) and the physics are impressive for a mobile game. The water physics are very satisfying.

I buy the original spintires in 2016 and play it still sadly it isnt on steam anymore so I cant buy some of the dlc

I’ve always wondered if dudes that donate to help people make money ever get anything in return? It’s not like you’re donating to save some kid with cancer. You’re literally donating money to someone so they can make more. Would be like you buying stocks or bitcoins for a random guy at the gas station

I have been playing this since Spintires and quite often ask myself "I don't know why I'm still playing this dumb game.." I'm thoroughly addicted to this shit, even though my real job somewhat travels near this game in some aspects, I drive a 1/2 ton truck, I make deliveries to job sites, I sometimes get stuck in mud and ask help from a front end loader. Yet I still come home and play this long hours, hard work, tedious, repetitive game, in lieu of other game.

-infact, i'm drinkin whiskey, feelin good and now gonna go play some Black Badger Lake, work on my contracts.

I am now 15 and I remember for the longest time me and my best friend would sneak onto his dads PC to play spintires for hours and hours adding mods and just fucking around I miss OG spintires

I know you have the one for things Mudrunner did better then Snowrunner, but I want to know the other way around because after seeing your videos, I kinda feel like playing Mudrunner then snowrunner 😂

Still remember 2011-16 active in the oovee forum, modding and tweaking the game to my liking because its so awesome and so easy to do, good stuff. Then no update for a long time and the forum's dead since all the senior moderator and dev itself going inactive or leave i cant remember exactly. I just stop there. 2023 i Guess I'll be back on the mud in snowrunner.

Huge thanks for touching on the dev debates. Ive been with this game since 2013 and was always pissed at how it was the modding community that had to work hard to keep the game alive. I dont think mudrunner or snowrunner would be what it is today without seeing what was possible with the modders. There are HUNDREDS of maps, and more vehicles I can count for the original Spintires.

The video went into such depth with the history of this game, thanks for making it. I was lucky enough to grab Chernobyl before I realized they removed the game so im happy to have been grandfathered in.

idk how my dad did it but my dad has the 2011 version on his old laptop i want to try it but it wont turn on bc the pcs cpu and everything is so old to do it

I have the first SpinTires, and then buy MuderRunner, but I believe that greed is not letting the game grow even more, the prices charged today make it difficult to buy, I even bought a copy of Muderunner for a friend, now I want to buy one for It's already unfeasible for me, if you're going to buy it with all the DLCs, forget it!

The spintires series has been a great addition to the world of driving sims. For me Snowrunner is the best realistic trucking simulation out there and has one of the best driving physics engines which was originally created by Pavel and used in all the spintires games including Snowrunner. Personally, Snowrunner is at the top of the list and a big part of that is it has an insane amount of content. Has real world licensed trucks, Believe it or not there is over 80+ trucks/vehicles and 12 map dlc's with over 20 maps, And is still getting added to. Year 4 adding 10 more map's and roughly 10 more vehicles. Bringing the total to 30 maps and 16 map dlc's and more than 90 trucks! Not to forget the addition of Hard mode and New game plus. The game has an amazing amount of content and dlc's which you dont see very often in todays gaming. Its constantly getting updated, bug fixes and resolving issues and changes to trucks as needed.. Im glad snowrunner has gotten the fanbase it does today. The reddit and discord is full of people wanting to give advice and help out new runners playing the game looking for advice and sharing ideas and thoughts with each other! Its a really great community Im proud to be apart of this community. Looking forward to this next year of new content. See you all on the trails! Happy Running fellow truckers!

I like the most mudrunner from most of them, what i miss from spintires is ability to adjust tire pressure. Im sad that the most content is added to snowrunner which doesnt have as advanced driving model

I just loaded up spin tire not to long ago on ps5.thru the ps plus streaming thing.the k700 was there along with all the other stuff

the 2013 Spintires for me is the most iconic and classic version of Spintires mostly due to TC9700's content around it

pretty sure i played spintires as a kid but.. you know as a kid i was clueless and this game was hard :D

I remember way back then when I got a computer, It was very out of the ordinary since I was always a console gamer, and still am to this day. And the very first game I played was Spintires.

Snowrunner has one thing that Mudrunner will never have. And that is colour. Mudrunner has got to be the most bland, grey, Russian looking game I've ever played. Also needs mods for me to play. I get bored of base game crap way too quickly.

I remember playing Spintires with friends and solo a lot, it was a lot of fun with a steering wheel and such. Mudrunner was really really good too, a progression of the original formula of the original game if you will. But the whole circus around the lawsuit soured the whole deal even now. Sabre as much as I am concerned took down Spintires for financial benefit. When looking at Snowrunner and the many DLCs and downgrades and Epic exclusivity with the missing quality of life features of steam compared to the original game it only makes sense that they wanted to take out the competition. Not to mention the Trucks and Cars in Snowrunner feel way too arcade-ish and lack the weight of the earlier games. I was sad to see the Spintires games go into abandonware stage when it was taken off steam for good. Played all of the titles but refunded Snowrunner because of the state the game is in and considering all the circumstances and haven touched Mudrunner since.
Thankfully the Steam Workshop still works well and got enough content to keep Spintires fresh, wish it wouldnt have come to that though since they basically destroyed on of my favourite games.
