All he wanted was something to eat.
ОтветитьThe first time I watched this movie I was feeling sleepy by the end, not because the movie was boring but because it was late at night and I was tired from work. When Rambo started his monologue, it completely grabbed my attention and the sleepy feeling disappeared... At that moment I felt like the colonel, just standing there in silence, listening to every word that Rambo had to say, feeling shocked and not knowing how to react. It's such a powerful scene. I realized then that this wasn't just an action movie, it was more than that.
ОтветитьRichard Crenna is stunned for real !!! He was not being directed by
ОтветитьStallone’s vulnerability in this scene and how the movie’s sudden pivot from brazen violence to a man’s trauma induced breakdown is a testament to Stallone’s innate sense of finding the beating heart of these characters and advocating for their humanity in each story he pens and contributes to.
ОтветитьPowerful scene, for many soldiers who came back from war and left with post traumatic disorder this is there reality
ОтветитьOriginally Rambo was supposed to die at the end of this scene. I’m glad the writers changed it lol.👊🏾
ОтветитьWhen I was a little kid watching this I knew it was something important. Watching again as an adult I cried like a little kid.
ОтветитьWhat a poignant scene. Love it
If I EVER run into someone who I know or find out spit on our Vietnam Warriors, you better run like the cowards you are. I'm not playing.
And to all the Vietnam Veterans who are reading this... Welcome Home
les secteurs pavés , c'est kekchoze
ОтветитьThis scene, and the final moments where the song “a long road” made me cry. As hellish as war could be, for Rambo there was an odd level of sanity in it all. Of course he lost many friends along the way, but at least he stuck to honorable things like comradeship and a sense of professionalism when he used million dollar equipment. But it’s when he comes home arrives the true dread of it all, that is outside of the battlefield there is nothing for Rambo. The things left for Rambo is a photo of dead friends, shitty part time jobs, and no future. The path for Rambo until the sequel is long, lonely and sad
ОтветитьWhy the chipmunk voices though?
ОтветитьColonel Campbell & Solid snake
Ответить"I can't get it out of my head."
ОтветитьThis scene is one of the closest scenes to truth in cinema. Pure message. God-inspired. They don't make films like this anymore.
ОтветитьButt poop 💩
ОтветитьSomebody won’t let me win. Now everything is different. They drew first blood. I know that words have meaning.
ОтветитьAnyone who enjoyed this movie should read the book.
ОтветитьMy wife had never seen this movie, she'd only ever heard about it. When it was over, particularly after this scene, I asked he what she thought, and she said, "This movie... was not what I thought it was going to be."
ОтветитьThat person is literally me, after 6 years of cooking.
Ответить"there's 200 civilian cops out there" poor bastards, they're outmanned and outgunned
ОтветитьTo All Veterans Thanks for service?

Esse filme é uma Obra-Prima.
ОтветитьWhat happens when you train a man only to fight and survive for years, make him fight and survive for years and suddenly tell him, that fighting is no longer part of surviving ?
ОтветитьSly deserved an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for this pic
ОтветитьStallone said he did all this in one take, because he didn't want to do it again.
Ответитьthis scene hits pretty hard I'm an afghan war vet from the US Ive found it sooo difficult to hold jobs
ОтветитьThen Hollywood made him a damn propaganda tool for the Middle Eastern conflicts. OOPS
ОтветитьFACEZIA:GESU' VA AL MERCATO COLL'ASINELLO GRIGIO E NON SA UN CAZZO DELLE FIAMME ROSA E DEL ROSSO CHE DIVENTA COLOR PLATINO COL SOLE LUNA E LE CRISTIANE IL SESSO E' PECCATO DICONO CHE GESU' E' DIO !
ОтветитьGod bless all of our veterans , living and deceased. They are true heroes! Please, never forget them!
ОтветитьThese are all Farcist western wealthy people game, playing the basic wealth people go to war as a game
When they come back home, blamed the people who kill innocent in war
Nothing glamorous of war. Many vets who returned suffered emotional breakdown
ОтветитьTypical American culture. They use you and when it's about obeying the rules they ignore human values and throw it away like a crumpled paper.
Ответить"I wanna go home..." I cant imagine what vietnam veterans go through even to this day...
ОтветитьThey may be soldiers but at the end of the day they're humans. The trauma of War is unbelievable !!
Ответитьitalian version is better
Ответитьthe fact that Stallone did not get an Oscar for this is criminal
ОтветитьThis scene is so powerful because Rambo had a very stoic demeanor throughout the whole film and it shocks the viewer that despite his calm outward appearance he's actually very troubled inside
ОтветитьHow does one watch a movie this quality
ОтветитьA man who had been quiet for a long time until it boils over on where he stands. He used to be someone until it is taken away from him and now he is less than dirt.
ОтветитьDAMN POWERFUL SCHENE
ОтветитьAs a witness and a survivor of serious crimes.. I know how he feels.. like not in the horrors of what happened to his friend.. but with his never ending nightmares and fears hey!! This movie is and will remain cinematic gold! Not for what I just said about myself but because of its sad and blunt truth!!
ОтветитьThis is PEAK acting, both Sly and Richard Crenna (see his reaction on his lower lip the whole time) as Colonel Sam Trautman, I hope we can be able to have again some of the best actors like these.
ОтветитьSylvester delivers such an intense life drama, here.
ОтветитьRambo got the 1000 yard stare as a vietnam vet
ОтветитьI never went to war but I have bad ptsd from being incarcerated from 16 to 23. It’s so random even smells can trigger me or hearing chains is a big one for me
ОтветитьHaving ptsd sux, what sux the most it comes & it goes. Im feeling alright next thing i feel I want to die at times...
ОтветитьIt’s kind of like me when I finished by Political Science undergrad and I have to go and work at Tescos.
