ОтветитьI will withhold judgement until I’ve seen the artists’ realistic paintings ( if any ) which they made prior to their foray in abstraction.
ОтветитьThere are no rules to abstraction that’s the whole point
Ответить😍👍🏾
ОтветитьMusical notes don’t depend for mood on the note that comes next, but more from the silent space in between those notes….
ОтветитьLove Kandinsky.
ОтветитьSteiner is one of the most underated artists of all time
ОтветитьThe Spiritual flowing through ...
A very real subject, one that "Nicola Tesla, Genius Quantum Physicist" referred to in his discoveries.
Quantum Physics Science studies and research findings literally are proving Theosophy, the Metaphysical, that "Energy, Vibrating on a Frequency" is everything, and the Human body is a Vessel for the "Energy we call Soul/Spirit", the vessel for a Physical Journey. "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it merel changes form.
The Soul Energy does not die, it Transitions back to the Nonphysical plane, and it exists at/on a Higher Frequency/Plane.
To be able to comprehend the subject and its values, begin with an indepth understanding of the "Universal Laws", particularly the "Universal Law of Attraction". Add the understanding of "The Blind Slit Experiment" and "Spooky at a Distance".
Then when you discover that youve learned to think a particular way, a particular sort of "Whats acceptable, and Not", when you experience a bit of Cognitive Dissonance, ......... then You are truly getting it, truly evolving in your Mind and Thoughts, then you are truly coming into Realization and into Reality.
... and to Realize you true worthiness.
There's real Creative and Creating in You.

Forgot to add this to my previous comment of some minutes ago...at about the 50 second mark Matthew is walking through a cavernous building and looking around, but what is this building and where is it? 🤔
ОтветитьGreat series Matthew. Too bad it ain't available as a DVD or Blu-Ray. I'd buy it, maybe even two copies and give one to my local library!😀
ОтветитьThe moment you make rules you lose the spirit.
ОтветитьLOL.
Ответить"The rules of abstraction". I cringe when rules are implied about making art. "guidelines" or "suggestions" ok. "Rules"--well give it up...Also, the word "abstract" is quite vague. I think of "abstraction" as having some underlying idea that is simplified with economy.
But much of what we refer to as abstract is simply an emotional outpouring. A surge of emotion. Like music. When we hear a melody, we hear an emotion depicted with sound.
When we se a Jackson Pollock, we are looking at a surge of emotion. So, "abstract" in visual art varies from an obvious concrete underpinning to a more musical surge of visual energy....Also, words like "soul", "spirituality" etc. are often freely used without much meaning. Simply fun to throw around...
I am an artist and trained architect, and this show is just excellent and educational. My mother used to tell me, 10 mins of everyday reading is 10 years of life expectancy of how beautiful life is. I owe everything to my mother an inspirational character.
ОтветитьI love this series but my god why do these people make answering simple questions about art so hard using words we would never use I'm an artist but defo not art farty beta male type😭 it's real embarrassing and cringing 🤭🤭
ОтветитьI save and savor each of these
Ответить"essence of spiritual" is a contradiction of terms,an oxymoron. This is the crux of the flaw in assuming marks can accomplish what is intended thereby making that process an erroneous hypothesis.
Imagining one is painting that which is unpaintable does not make it relevant to anyone except those who like unorganised geometries and some colour.
Nor will price make these abstract paintings more relevant.
The only intrinsic aspect of them is the artist's like of making marks in discrete ways.
I’m still waiting for this documentary to live up to its title…haven’t seen any ‘rules’ defined yet.
ОтветитьOnly on episode 2 wonder if they will mention “Though Forms” by Annie Bessant.
Ответитьthe best explanation and insights into abstraction. And I'm only 2/3 of the way through the second video. Can't believe i missed this 8 years ago!
ОтветитьBiocybernaut
Ответитьmore of the same from the controllers - THEY know what " art" is, how to define each genre, and then tell us the rules for each genre - what a fking joke these people are -
ОтветитьTo me, feeding the poor or providing housing and food, is spiritual, not making a picture.
ОтветитьToo much bullshit
ОтветитьThe rules of abstract art are - there are no rules....!!!!
Ответить😀Love It!!
ОтветитьShe just ruined that with the white paint and she knows it
ОтветитьThe title to this video is so ridiculous it made me laugh out loud. If there is one thing abstract artist are good at it is TALKING! Such a joke.
ОтветитьThese people take themselves way too seriously. Newsflash! You make "art" even I could make, and I have down syndrome!
Ответить👎👎👎 blavatski said $atan is the highest lord.

ОтветитьThis type of "ART' is for lazy people who haven,t got talent {but want to call themselves artists} or don,t have the patience to do the hard slog and learn the skills to draw and paint. One of those anything can be art people
ОтветитьI love the qoutes from Kandinsky on color: “ working with color is like playing the piano” 🎵💜🎶💙🎵💗🎶🧡🎶💛🎵🖤
ОтветитьI love this documentary! But please : with German Untertitel
Ответитьlovley TV show. mat is less shiney than when i saw him on the telly last... but he's got a nice texture all the same. but i mostly 'think' contemporary abstract painters are doing a job. even if i like the feel of their pictures... the art job is a wrong-un. feeding the act... cat?
ОтветитьI really like how you present this. You bring out the spirituality of Art.
ОтветитьI believe these abstract painters are just doing it because how it feels to pain/ or how it looks . Sort like a hobby for them to do.
But painter from the past put their heart into their painting . It was from what they feeling , the time they lived , or what they were going through and attributed it in their paintings .
That's why they looked unique and realistic ! Not, these dummies artist who just paint on a canvas and think is has a meaning . Anybody could paint on a canvas lol
I experiment a lot with colors.
ОтветитьI paint Intuitively.
ОтветитьI like doing Abstract . This helps me a lot .!
Ответитьi simply could not ignore his nose hairs :-D
Ответитьfirst off there are no rules for art. abstraction is in my opinion a simpler form of art simply for the fact that there is no definition. and i must also say that abstract is a form of art created by and for people who cant paint. example pollack once said he couldnt even paint a hand. if you look at van goghs paintings i believe you will see an abstract form in his work. not to mention de kooning, basquiat, rothko and many many others. what i also believe is that art has no definition, thats what makes art, art. as to the artists emotion, intention, feelings, thoughts we can romanticize all we want but we can only assume. bacon said he felt nothing when he painted. i have to ad that we have seen monkeys and elephants paint abstract paintings that could be compared in quality to some painters . art can only be judged by the person viewing it and what it means to them.
ОтветитьMusic without lyrics , art without an assigned subject.
ОтветитьAbstract art gets a bad rap because economics:
1 - people value LABOR, abstract art seems to use little to no effort on canvas and less hours
2. Abstract art commands prices in the millions
3. people do not like the contradiction: little labor and huge price, since this also echoes snobbery and harms a equal distribution of pay according to effort
In conclusion, the outrage is not aesthetic or mystical, but economic - moral.
If something is spiritual ¿how come you can own it and sell it?
What wonderful creativity – a joy to view! Sending my support 🔔
ОтветитьIt's a real breath pity that breath * currently *breath * the best way to present an arts show *breath * on the BBC *breath * is like *breath this
ОтветитьI'm using this to cram knowledge about abstract art, and I have nothing to say except "I like your funny words magic man!"
