Love the para 3. It’s not called paramilitary 3, just “para”
Ответитьthank you for your service
ОтветитьTired of close-up frames. Try more medium shots.
ОтветитьTip breakers are deal breakers.👍
ОтветитьI have that exact PM2 and I love it. I’ve heard people talk about the grip tearing up their pockets but I’ve had zero issues with it. I love the way it looks with the camo and coated blade. I paid 200 for mine but I’m not active military. And thank you for your service buddy. Enjoyed your content.
ОтветитьSpyderco blades always remind me of the spy vs spy comics from mad magazine
ОтветитьI wish the PM2 and PM3 had deep carry clips.
ОтветитьOld video but omg. 3 is smaller.
ОтветитьYou broubght up a great point about the "heel" in the handle. That it gives you leverage in cutting. Same holds true for postol grips. In that case ithelps reduce muzzle rise/flip....faster recovery between shots...a good point to keep in mind when trying to decide between the 2 knives..the P3 vs the PM2...will matter. Somethig I think many people are overlooking.
I wear size L gloves...so maybe the PM2 would be a better choice. You (I) don't ever want to buy a product only to regret it later. :) Even if these knives arent't "mega expensive". ..
Good points...and you included cut testing footag...worth doing...
I thought that the PM2 had a handle that fit me perfectly, until I recently got a Military. .!! Now I have the complete perfect knife,,, and hope to sell my 2 PM2's,,,
ОтветитьAre you serious, it's self explanatory ,, it's a smaller knife. And also Para is short for paramilitary and 3 refers to blade length .
ОтветитьThe bladehq review mentioned the scales
ОтветитьIs the Air Force really "active duty military" tho...? Jk. Thank you for your service
ОтветитьSpyderco para3, i think that it's sexy shape than para2.
ОтветитьI think people should get both, if they can. They're just great knives. I think my only complaint, I broke the tip on my Para 2 within the first week of having it.
ОтветитьSo the smaller knife has a smaller handle interesting. I’ve got 5 of each in various blade steels and sprint runs and never noticed the smaller one having a smaller handle.
ОтветитьI just bought the paramilitary 2. Excellence. How a pocket knife should be. Sharp out the box, smooth to handle, beautiful to look at. As far as carrying laws they won't matter very soon. I live in an area with no length limit but even if I traveled I wouldn't sweat it
ОтветитьThe para 2 is the world's greatest edc In my view. PERIOD.
ОтветитьI didn't Google your quote but was it Lorena Bobbitt?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI’ve just bought a PM2. I wanted a smaller Spyderco. The Para 3 is a bit small for me.
ОтветитьParamilitary 2 all day everyday,,,no contest
ОтветитьI agree with your overall assessment. I would add though that, of course the Para3 isn't going to be quite as good as its larger cousin, but you can carry the para3 in places you can't carry the paramilitary 2. Also, for edc in pants, lot less profile and some less weight on the smaller knife.
ОтветитьAre Air Force personnel even allowed to carry a Paramilitary 2? Thought those were for the real military...
ОтветитьI recently got a hogue doug ritter mini, and have found it handles all my edc chores,as well as my larger knives
ОтветитьThe floor is made of floor.
ОтветитьNoones pointed out that the Handles different/ Smaller because its suppose to be...the PM2 has a Bigger blade therefore it needs a Bigger handle....
ОтветитьI have the para 3. Tried spyderco after owning benchmades, ZTs, etc. It was by far the worst in edge retention. I’m tough on all my folders. After a few months it had chips in the blade edge. I really wanted to like the para I love the style and feel but durability is average in my experience.
Ответитьyou deserve more subs.
ОтветитьQuite a few reviewers complained about the excess handle as opposed to the blade length of the pm2 but I feel it was intentional to give a hard use use knife a much more secure and comfortable grip.
The para3 hotspots my hand almost immediately but I can use the pm2 all day. In Australia you can’t edc a knife regardless of length so the blade length for legal reasons doesn’t come into the argument.
Where it does allow you to edc due to the shorter length, I would be interested to see if the 3 inch blade of the para 3 somehow attached to the longer pm2 handle would go. Not everyone cares about pocket realestate so much that it would matter.
In the marines we can carry any knife we want.. matter of fact OEF 2 they gave us microtechs
ОтветитьI love my spiderco but man there clips are cheap
ОтветитьWhy does it matter if its slip join or not in Europe?
Ответитьnotice what? that the scales feel slightly different?
Ответитьbased on the footage of you cutting cardboard, even though it sped up, your blade is dull as FUCK
ОтветитьBeen said by many others here in the comments, but it’s a smaller knife, so of course it has a shorter handle. And pretty much every other reviewer has mentioned this as well.
ОтветитьI carry a yojimbo 2 everywhere, and I couldn't care less if it's legal or not. If it comes out at all, it means I'm in trouble.
ОтветитьDidn't he say he was in the military, but then he said he was in the air force? Bahaha. Eighty deuce on the loose!
ОтветитьI would want them to beef up the tip just a little bit like they did in the Native Chief. That would make the Para 2 perfect. Not much, just a tad.

ОтветитьBack then knifes were actually used for something useful now they’re used to cut cardboard boxes 😂
ОтветитьI'm Dutch and there's nothing against locking knives in here
ОтветитьPM2 all day everyday. Though i have a soft spot for the Manix
ОтветитьIf the blade is smaller then the handle will be smaller, not sure why one would have to mention the obvious. Ones a full size while the other is a compact.
Ответитьdon't point that knife at me
ОтветитьI wear size XXL to XXXL gloves depending on the brand... would a Para 2 be okay for me or should i go with a Manix 2?
ОтветитьThe para 3 blade tip is not centered with the handle which drives my ocd nuts and makes me hate it.
ОтветитьThe quote is from Gotham.
ОтветитьSO WHY DO YOU PEOPLE LIKE THE PARA 2, PARA 3, AND MANIX 2 MORE THAN THE BENCHMADE FOLDERS? DETAILS APPRECIATED.
Ответитьis there any logical scientific reason why a 3.5 inch blade is somehow way more lethal than a 3 inch??? is your heart 3 to 3.5 inches below your rib cage, etc? CALIFORNIA BS?
Ответить
