I understand the price jump with the new technology changes. That’s a lot of plastic though. It’s hard to adapt to the new looks when our brains have been conditioned to the 5th gen for so long.
ОтветитьThey need to put the 4Runner letters back where they were or stamp the rear hatch. Would look 1000% better from the back.
ОтветитьTRD Off Road Premium. No gloss black
ОтветитьMan the $50K version looks cheap, what the heck.
ОтветитьNeither will be "worth it." Toyota NA is about to find that out. Just like they have with the Prado.
ОтветитьI would more than likely go with the OFF-ROAD. The pro I feel is going to be too much $$$$$$$$$$$, like the Tacoma is. Both are looking great.
ОтветитьLolllll I’m just gonna drive my 3rd gen 4Runner till it dies. (It’s at 355k)
ОтветитьA glorified grocery getter with a turbo 4 banger costing north of $60k?! Toyota YOU CAN KEEP IT!
ОтветитьGet a first gen tundra and have a truck for a lifetime.
ОтветитьToyota doesn't seem to understand why the 4runner is successful. Nothing about this new platform has a track record of reliability. 50k for a truck with these specs is absurd.
Ответить$50K and they don’t shine the tires! 😂
Ответить5th gen is better everyway.
ОтветитьThanks for the video, Jon.
I am just disappointed every time I watch new 4Runners videos, it just look so much cheaper everywhere than current model.
70K for the PRO ???!!! SERIOUSLY????? Serious question..
ОтветитьTRD off road is better. Less cheesy.
ОтветитьI’ll keep my 5th Gen, thank you !!
ОтветитьStill looks cheapy and pre-producitiony, like it's trying to look more quality than it is with its gloss black and flashy looks. The thing with the 5th generation it didn't matter if you got a base SR5 (like me) or a top of the line Limited, all of them felt solid inside and out. No creaky cheap plastic. The door card materials, the seats, etc, all felt solid and quality. They look, feel , and drive, like like just an honest solid rig that you can keep for 20+ years. This looks like it takes a knee to the iPad babies who want all the tech and bells and whistles. They got it - but the build quality had to take a hit. Otherwise a 60,000 rig would cost 90,000.
ОтветитьMostly gay
ОтветитьWow Toyota has really gone downhill!
ОтветитьUgly as hell. Those big plastic fender flares creep me out. That vehicle is not for me.
ОтветитьI would like to know if the glove box does the same thing as the tacoma?
ОтветитьThe pro is 7 seater?
ОтветитьYou didn't check the door sicker to see if it was made in Japan
ОтветитьMan I love the 4runner / tundra, owned a few.. hurts to see how horribly they butchered the new Gen. switching over to GM 😪
ОтветитьGah, yota needs to CALM DOWN on these fender flares.... eegghhh...
ОтветитьTRD Pro for $76k+, no thanks. TRD Off-Road for $50k+ w/4 cyl engine, not aggressive tires and plasticy stuff,,,, maybe. Not super excited like I want to be. Praying for a badass FJ Cruiser w/6 cyl & big ground clearance to be announced.
ОтветитьTheres no other excuse toyota couldnt have fit the 1GR in this gen other than EPA requirements. The LC300 for the middle eastern market literally offers this engine as an option, meaning the TNGA-F can support this.
ОтветитьIt looks like if someone made a rav 4 out of balloon animals
ОтветитьThe matte finish plastic on the off road looks a million times better than the glossy stuff.
ОтветитьI wish they offered an AWD tier as the part time 4WD system is a non-starter for constant snow and wet slush.
ОтветитьI've had a 2011 SR5, traded out after 4 years for a 20' SR5 premium. Got 90% of what I paid out of the 11' on trade after 9 years. My 20' has gas assist lift for the hood, speakers in the hatch, heated seats (winter package).. and I'm at 65k mileage, paid off. I will not be trading for the 6th gen for a very long time, if I ever do. It Honesty looks like a downgrade, with the added privilege of getting bent over and fisted..
ОтветитьI heard the TRD pro has a option to not have the hybrid system
ОтветитьTRD Pro
ОтветитьThe base model looks so stripped down, bare bones nothing interior. So crazy how they charge what they charge and produce something like that
ОтветитьSo what if, and hear me out... we charged you more, for less?
ОтветитьThey ruined the 4 runner, rolling plastics withe a weak engine.
ОтветитьThese just look way worse than the previous gens 🤷. Why is no one saying it. Even if the quality and materials and capabilities were just as good or better (I don't think they are)...they just look worse. Like angry Chevy Suburbans. Not Toyota 4 Runners.
ОтветитьJon what happened to the 6th gen 4Runner hitting the lots before the end of the year? What about them being produced in December? Especially since they aren’t even being allocated yet! It’s almost like I know what I’m talking about 🫵😂🫵
ОтветитьThis will not sell!!!
ОтветитьYou have to be a real retard to spend this kind of money on this kind of car
ОтветитьWhy do you say 50k vs 70k in the title but in the video you say you don’t know what the price will be?
ОтветитьIf they got a four banger in them you can keep them
ОтветитьI'm so happy. I bought an off-road premium plus this year. These new ones not worth the money.
Ответить70k, 4cyl , sad really was such a classic. Hate to say it but it looks like an American suv. bare, plastic, cheap ie Jeep.
ОтветитьYou said “texturedized and spelt” both not real words. The high gloss plastic fenders are terrible and so to is the raised hump in the back. Not good if you have dogs. Also, who decided that camo would be cool in this vehicle?
ОтветитьJon, do you know if the TRD ORP will have the premium headlights and taillights like the pro?
ОтветитьNice hat
ОтветитьGlad I own a 2020 Off Road w/KDSS.
ОтветитьWhat size is the gas tank on the non-hybrid TRD Off Road?
Ответить
