This is great! I already follow James, but was happy to learn more about him. I will now follow you, and hope to see more like this. Love getting exposed to new photogs and this makes it much easier than trying to wade through YT.
Ответить“40 is between 35 and 50” 😂
ОтветитьInteresting to know the view of other photographers. Nice one Roman.
ОтветитьI am a follower of both your channels, so this is a treat!
ОтветитьI very much enjoyed this video and the interaction between the two of you, also enjoyed walkinh around that city with the both of you , I saw lots of opportunity
ОтветитьLove this format. I’ve followed you and James for quite some time now and think he and you are brilliant photographers.
ОтветитьNice video, good questions and good answers. Glad to see you ask James about his favourite focal length, that's something he's never really talked about on his channel.
ОтветитьMore please! I thought this video was awesome, great job.
ОтветитьLols, he replace the Sony lettering to Leica.... I wonder why he does that?
ОтветитьLeica, eh James? I wonder if I can fit Miranda on my R5?
ОтветитьLiked the format so I subscribed
ОтветитьThis is a goldmine of a video. James Popsys had the best beginner gear recommendation - to leave budget for photography travel - when I first got into photography some years ago. You're some of my favourite creators on here, it's wild to see you collaborate!
ОтветитьFun!
ОтветитьI follow James's YT and this helped see a different side of him, really interesting
ОтветитьThat was great. James is such a greag guy from what we know of him and love his work. Format was great. Simple, showing some of James photos and asking him a few questions. Great video.
ОтветитьLoved watching this video and the format! So many possibilities from all the different photographers out there! 🙌🏻
ОтветитьGood format! I've been following James for years. See he forgot his tripod again 😏
ОтветитьGreat work, really enjoyable to watch and reflect upon –thank you.
ОтветитьDiggin these! Def need to link with Paulie B
ОтветитьI always enjoy your videos. I liked the format of this and am looking forward to viewing the others you have done. Thank you .
ОтветитьWe’re not sick of you yet Roman, love your style, and this walk & talk with James is a great idea.
ОтветитьThanks Roman, I follow both of you. This was great seeing James from a different perspective. Please do more !
ОтветитьJames is sooo inspirational
ОтветитьMy gosh .. where to start… I absolutely love this. I was watching James’s video with you and I thought I’d come over and now I had subscribed. James is a funny sausage. When I very first started watching his channel and looking at his photography, I kept on telling myself “ no not my bag”… then I returned and then I kept on returning and I kept on thinking “Gosh, I I’ll keep coming back to look at his photos and could stare at them for ages”…. Kept asking myself why I liked his photos so much and you know what it is sense of curiosity and searching I feel when I look at his work. I’ve gone from thinking, no not for me to actually thinking he now has to be on my favourite photographers. I’m so glad to come across your work now.. what a wonderful video. Thank you so much. I enjoyed it so much.
ОтветитьRoman. This was really well done.
ОтветитьGreat interview with James Popsys. I follow James every week. I will now take a look at your videos. I found you when I saw James’s name.
ОтветитьDo like the format of walk-and-talk/work that you chose here. Well done, already was a sub of both channels :)
ОтветитьJames is spot on about images that make you think or question. Too many people trying to go Viral, or doing the gimmicky shots, they are very short burn.
ОтветитьRomand and James in the same video? What is this, a crossover episode?
ОтветитьWalking about, chatting, taking photos -- which you show to pay off a point -- wonderful -- really works on this channel. Good questions, Roman, queries that don't break the flow but add to it. I learned a lot about another photographer's point of view, such as "look for compositions that provide more questions than answers." More, please.
ОтветитьLoved the format! More please!
ОтветитьThere’s something magical about James’ photography and yet he’s such a humble guy. His channel, where is often self-deprecating, really does standout in a world where everyone is trying to be Peter McKinnon. It’s really refreshing to see people like him and Roman talking about their work in a way that is honest and giving.
ОтветитьLoved this. Great advice about looking for photos that provide more questions than answers
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьThanks mate! Loved it! Keep 'em coming. 👍
ОтветитьWooooow, such nice photos! I mean really, really!
ОтветитьNeed more Collaborations with James ,cool seeing different styles your a Fuji Shooter he was rocking a Sony with the 40mm ,Dope video bro
ОтветитьStill like the format. :-)
ОтветитьVery enjoyable. I follow James and really enjoy his perspective. Hope you do more like this. It’s a nice change of pace.
Ответить"big fan of small equipment" - we all know what you mean James!
ОтветитьLovely video and great format!
ОтветитьThat was high value ..........really like your ' shooting with mates ' format . James Popsys work is very special , I think one of his heroes must be Wes Anderson among others l am sure .
Watched you with Mark Fearnley also exceptional , his work is so precise and graphic . I am a 74 old Australian and still love photography and the post process . Heading to Japan next week for the
sixth time since the mid 80's and so exited again about the visual opportunities that will unfold . l thank you for your effort here , l find it so inspirational !
James is so humble yet produces some lovely images...I had to laugh at the homemade 'Leica' sticker on his Sony. Hmm he likes to shoot between 35mm and 50 on a 60 megapixel camera, that sounds like a Leica Q3 43 lol.
ОтветитьGreat interview - do some more of them.
ОтветитьGreat questions, thanks for interesting interview
