Really wonderful
ОтветитьMy soul has been touched - thank you 🙏
ОтветитьSo healing just to listen to such a wonderful man and healer. Peter is a blessing in this world
ОтветитьGreat awareness...! If he can throw some light on heart palpitations (unpleasant awareness of our own heart beat) feels like it's also one kind of trauma. If it is addressed will be great ful to you . Thanks and Regards 🙏
ОтветитьWonderful people, wonderful interview , so helpful in becoming willing to face my own history of trauma honestly. Thank you Forrest, thank you Rick, that you Peter Levine.
ОтветитьThank you. This is such an encouraging message. I was sexually abused as a child. Only now, at the age of 41 , after hearing: It wasn't your fault, you were a victim, I feel as if huge burden was lifted off my shoulders. At last I understand why I shamed myself and felt guilty all my life, always thinking there was something wrong with me. Nobody understood me, not even myself. I just documented my story, and yes, I want to publish it, as I don't want anybody to go through what I went.
Ответитьomg all of you are such beautiful people!
ОтветитьPeter, your life is a gift. <3
ОтветитьThank you 🙏 ❤
Ответитьthank you so much for this conversation
ОтветитьThank you for this truly. I'd like to point out that all the jump cuts in editing seem jarring to me, they disrupt my attention. The speakers' train of thought should be left intact, with their pauses IMO
ОтветитьThank you for this interview and for dr. Peters Levine openness. I am a trauma therapist who was raped in the past and the amount of shame that I carried with it was enormous. Hearing that he went through something so horrible and is now helping so many people makes me more hopeful, confident and less alone.
ОтветитьI was searching for videos after discovering Dr Peter work 🥹Forrest your channel will help so many people thank you❤
ОтветитьThis interview is above the best.. Peter Levine is a remarkable person who is out of this world. Thankyou for this extremely enlightening interview.
ОтветитьI’m very grateful for the information, although I have following many great teachers, I still have no idea, unless I have money! I don’t!!!
To pay for somatic release. Any advice? ❤
I’m not safe now!
How do I feel safe? Pre- verbal to puberty, sexual assault was my beginning, still happens, just different perpetrators 😢..can you please explain how to get the somatic safety healing? 🥰
This is all great, but HOW? Do I do any of this without money or finding the right therapist?
Because I can’t find any self safety? 😢
🙏🙏🙏 Thank you, Peter. ❤

ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьTwice as many
Ответить\how about plain vocabulary! I know I was destined for my toxic shame self disdain and PTSD. etc. growing into adulthood Everything you say makes sense because I now after 45 yrs I get it the knowledge and vocabulary gives presence and being exactly where I am supposed to be. Control back after rationalizing I understand the dark experience is someone else's story not mine... I have grown out of the that history.. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\this video is amazing.. Thank you Dr.Levine for your courage and selfless contribution to to us all...
ОтветитьWhat's really interesting about that looking away phenomena, even if we've learned to look right back, it's often already too late. The other person has interpreted it as rejection/disinterest, whatever - when it's just the sensitive person getting to a point where they can engage.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this content, Forrest. It’s worth its weight in gold. Such wisdom and warmth that can help so many people 🙏
ОтветитьWonderful converstaion. so much love in itand tenderness too.

ОтветитьI just started listen and I understood your name was Handsome and I thought that was so cute 🙏
ОтветитьLearnt so much from this session, on so many different levels! Thank you all for your generosity to share freely!❤
ОтветитьDeeply grateful from Spain. Beautiful souls... "your story matters"
"the arch of the movement" "dignity" "tenderness". Thank you.
Rick, thank you for warning us about Peter’s story. I didn’t expect to have a reaction but immediately I was weeping for little Peter. I’m so sorry that happened to you.
ОтветитьThis is so wonderful, I'm very grateful 🙏 ❤
ОтветитьI had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rick at Spirit Rock Meditation Center years ago and have loved his work. This episode is especially valuable given Dr. Levine's amazing work. So happy that Forrest is following in his dad's footsteps of providing extremely valuable content for all of us. So grateful for all 3 of you!
Ответить😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Ответить"What counts is what we experience." So, I don't have many memories of a childhood other than mostly trauma. Because I don't remember, I don't experience through my memories, does not mean this doesn't count. It counts precisely because I can't remember. There is something there whether I can feel its experience. I feel its absence. This counts.
Ответитьthere's a lot missing in the healing industry/world. sadly there are taboo subjects which prevent people from feeling connected to their creator. in Boulder when I trained there, it was extremely eastern religion oriented and nobody was really allowed to talk about anything else. that is extremely restricting. I found this healing world of SE to be almost cult-like in their push towards buddhism, yoga, hinduism. the SE model of trauma release works effectively. however it lives in a flawed system.
ОтветитьAmazing amazing amazing!!! Thank you ❤
ОтветитьDanke!
ОтветитьI think people relate more to tik tokkers in our disposable quick fix pop psychology driven climate. Dr Levine has been a source of information, inspiration and guidance for me on my hybrid journey as survivor and psychotherapist🙏🏻
Ответить🧡💙🙏
ОтветитьThank you for this <3
ОтветитьI had been carrying trauma for years, but after working with mansaarnault, I finally started healing in a way I never thought possible
ОтветитьMansaarnault’s rituals helped me face my trauma and heal from the inside out. I’m so grateful for this transformation
ОтветитьIt’s hard to put into words how much mansaarnault’s work has helped me heal after years of trauma. If you’re struggling, he can help you too
ОтветитьI thought I was stuck with my trauma forever, but after doing a ritual with mansaarnault, I finally started to feel at peace
ОтветитьI never believed in spiritual healing until I worked with mansaarnault. He helped me remove deep-seated trauma and reclaim my peace
ОтветитьIf you’re struggling with trauma, I highly recommend mansaarnault. His work is beyond powerful and has helped me heal in ways I didn’t think were possible
ОтветитьForrest you chose your poppa well, if there is anything to that, or you just were radically lucky, and lovely to see you carrying on the wonder. Sacred bows to Rick and Peter, anchors in my own journey from deep and complex trauma that historical components. i remember a moment, when after writing the first bit for my memoir, my body was in desperate need of going back into therapy. To spite having two colleges in my mid-sized city that train therapists, after talking to around 15 people, I met a professor of one of the colleges. I simply sat and calmly told her where I was in my healing of journey of then I think 15 years or so, she gave me back my check, and told me 15 minutes into the session, I can't help you, and I know NOBODY in this town who has the skills to help you. Find a somatic therapist. I had to really advocate hard with my insurance company and had to drive an hour to and from once a week, but I found one and it was a HUGE game changer. I believe every counselor played a role, but my husband commented, you are finally making progress. His observation was that the different types of therapy, talk, couples counseling, and Jungian, were doing more harm to my body than good, and I worked with a therapist trained in somatic experiencing for five years, then stopped when a debris flow closed the roadway. Later, when I needed to go back, I went back to this office, and worked with the comprehensive resource model, and this felt like even more appropriate for deep, deep, deep trauma. With Rick's work, I understood that my brain needed help, that the nervous system needed retraining, that I needed to learn how to take in certain things I was not able to, and his series Stress Proof the Brain was pivotal in beginning to heal this dimension of the trauma, and his ongoing provision of mindfulness sessions and teachings are a part of my personal well-being protocol. I have taught my partner some of his beauties, and he has integrated the practices in his life. His work built on teachings from Ticht Naht Hahn and the somatic movement modalities that also seemed to access the limbic system when I found myself inventing a movement modality out of my creative movement art process that surfaced out of an intention, in part, to see if I could heal even deeper layers of the body - BLESSINGS!
Ответитьthank you
