I just ordered some cute lace shoelaces from Amazon today to put on my plain black canvas ked sneakers. I chose black lace shoelaces, but there are endless options on there. I just measured the laces that came with the sneakers and chose some in the same length. I have to wear a wide width shoe and deal with pain from RA changes in my feet, so my choices in foot wear are limited. It’s always ordering something that should be comfortable online, but looks “meh” or matronly. Or I order something trendy online that is going to feel like walking on a 1/4” thick piece of plastic all day everyday. So, all that to say, sometimes, you find yourself ordering black lace shoelaces on Amazon at age 40.
