i have to imagine that the warhammer titan gets their info of the battlefield from something other than their eyes due to them not being directly connected to the titans the same way the other shifters are, like we dont see anything other than the long cable connecting tybur to her titan, in the crystal we see that she isnt getting the same lines on her face as the other shifters do, indicating that there has to be some other sensory way of getting information, i dont think it would make sense other wise on why some of them have their eyes completely covered

the warhamman don't necessary have to stay in a crystal to remotely control the titan. The power of the warhammer means the user can decide not to stay in the nape that's why Eren was in the mouth in the final.
