I was just thinking I wanted to see riot play an ant simulator to see what empire he builds

for some reason this was reminding me of Halo Wars.

I'm so happy with the uptick in animal survival games, its always been such an undersaturated market with such a large fan base. I equally want large triple A companies to jump on the bandwagon of Indy developers, so we can get highly funded Animal survival with constant development, but also fear the cash grab. The would 100% battle pass, DLC, ruin it.

I had that realization of life being crazy when I watched Relentless Enemies and saw the relationship between the lions and the buffalo.
Having said that, it would be cool if someone made a game about being a lion and leading a pride of lions, having to hunt animals and compete with other prides and deal with hyenas. That would be so sick..

I remember doing a presentation about ants in elementary school, they are such fascinating creatures. This game looks crazy fun... I love how the firebugs got lulled into this false sense of security of: "This colony only has these weak aphids, victory is surely ours" just to see the legion of warrior ants charge in to support the aphids and drive off the termites. And those noises when the bumblebee flew by... actually sounded like a helicopter, which makes sense from the view of an ant
