I'll still play the Venom game no matter who it is, but I'm really hoping Eddie Brock will be the protagonist. I've always loved Eddie's character and consider him the only true Venom in my eyes (no disrespect to Flash Thompson, he'd make a cool Agent Anti-Venom). They have the opportunity to introduce him and I know Insomniac has been hearing just how many people want to see him brought in true-to-form to the comics.

We'll I personally don't think it would be such a good idea for Harry Osborn to be Venom again in it, I admit having Harry Osborn as Venom serve as a antagonist and final boss was a smart move, but to have Venoms own game star him instead of Eddie Brock as Venoms host would be a middle finger to fans of the character.

It would be super interesting if the Carnage DLC involved the "good guys" just completely losing (perhaps Anti-Venom isn't as effective against Carnage as it was Venom since it was "born" from a different symbiote) and then the Spider-men have to resort to using Venom, with this case Miles being infected (or they release Venom, the attack on the Bugle happens, and Eddie Brock gets infected).

Can we get like... carnage, eddie brock, she-venom, more scream, gwen!?

Look I understand everyone's distaste with Harry as Venom but it's literally been established that HE is THEIR Venom. He can literally wake from the coma and it's not clear if Anti-Venom purged all of the symbiote from Harry's cells so it's highly undeniable that he'll return as Venom. Plus if he wasn't going to, insomniac would've just killed him rather than have him remain alive. Whenever comics or superhero plots put a character in a coma, it always means that they will undoubtedly return regardless of the circumstances. Lastly, it would be a complete waste of time for them to just create an unbelievable way to have Flash or Eddie become Venom just to make fans accept this version of the character... Like think about it: they still forced MJ missions onto us.... They're gonna definitely continue with Harry as Venom lmaooo. Whoever's pussy gets hurt reading this just know I'm sorry for admitting the facts no body wants to come to terms with. Alright I'm ready for the backlash now 🤣👌🏽

We got Venom coming out before the new Wolverine game then once Wolverine releases there’s supposed to be a Marvels Spider-Man 3 THEN after that 😭😂 there’s apparently a X-Men Game to Be Released sometime 2030 and of course we already know about 1943 Rise of hydra and the Xbox Exclusive Blade so I think it’s more than safe to say Marvel loving console player’s gone be eating ridiculously good soon 😂

As a die-hard venom fan, I genuinely hope this comes. I hope it's Eddie Brock, too. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved Harry as venom it was good and made sense. However, imagine if Venom left himself somewhere like idk a piece of the symboite that was split off and then bonded to Eddie. Fan favorite host, Harry, is still in a coma, so the green goblin gets introduced. Win-win.
