Great video. You make a pretty compelling case for going with Shopify, even for a beginner like me. I was wondering if you could do a video explaining in detail the whole Facebook ad process in detail e.g. i didn't fully understand all the terminology you used in this video like ROS, cost per click, etc, and it wiuld also be super helpful to understand better what the ad buying process is like and what metrics to be looking for once the four days of ads is over.

OK, why are you using $35 per shirt on your Shopify when you use the example of $20 per shirt or 25 on Etsy. For the same shirt?

Starting Oct 1, Etsy is going to prioritize visibility of items with shipping prices below $6, which means we will either have to eat some of the shipping cost, or raise prices. Also, Etsy has a 15 day waiting period before you can run ads.

Everything looks cool until you do it. I am currently in 4th month of shopify website selling tshirt only within a niche. I have a 1.8% conversion rate with AOV of 38$ last month (best one) but still losing money each month have done 200 orders overall.
Also i wondered how you were profitable with 1.49% conversion that you had previously when you started out..

Most shirts won't sell for 34. More like 20-24. Then add ad spend. Your profit is like 10%

Can i assume that launching a Shopify store and charging $34/shirt is OK? I know in the Etsy/Amazon examples you used $20/shirt - can we really charge THAT much more in the beginning" What tshirt price would you recommend when we launch shopify?

Shimmy this was a great video it did inspire me to ask one question. When running your Shopify store how much time is spent on customer service? It's the aspect of using Shopify that has caused us to hesitate.

Thank you for this video. I find Amazon merch very cumbersome to use, and capricious in what designs they will delist. I opened a shopify store to have more freedom but the learning curve is steeper than the marketplaces. Regardless, a quick question: would you wait until the Shopify store is fully loaded with products, or start doing ads as soon as just a few products are ready? Thank you in advance.

I'm already on shopify and am doing Chris Heakmans 21-hour course and still working on my 100 t-shirt designs. Only 44 left to go, not passive in the least bit bit am going the slow and steady route im still learning but its been fun the most important thing.

I sold 100 t-shirts last month and suddenly almost all sales stopped. I'm trying to figure it out.

Hi I just registered on etsy and had to pay 29 usd or like R520 in South Africa thats like you having to pay 500 usd in USA it`s a hell of a lot......

I have a question: When you ran the first ad for your website, did you do it only through Facebook? And if so, I assume that Facebook page didn’t have any reviews, right? So, it was completely new?. Didn’t that complicate things in terms of credibility with your potential buyers? Greetings, great content!

Etsy cost you 15 usd to open the shop, then 0.2 usd for every listing, plus a VAT tax added to that 0.2. in the end you have to pay around 0.52, and you have to pay it up front, plus that listing last only 4 months, so in 4 months you have to pay again all your listings if you want to keep them. SO!, i you have 500 hundred listings, every 4 months you have to pay around 260 usd, if not your account can be suspended. Obviously you can choose if you want to keep the listings or not.
