What size motor should You Get For Your Flatmaster Drum Sander? EthAnswers

I would love your explanation on the flatmaster vs the overhead units as that is where I’m currently stuck. Need a machine for production sanding after my thickness planer.

The volume is super low, can barely hear you.

i used an old 1hp on my 18 inch, plenty of course! i added a reversing switch to it so i can sand from either direction which greatly extends sandpaper life
