Dans le même esprit, j'aurais pensé que tu opterais pour un régulateur d'allure; le choix du pilote auto s'est fait parce que tu trouves que le régulateur est vite à la ramasse au portant (même sur un petit bateau pas spécialement rapide comme celui là?)? Je me pose la question dans l'optique de la rénovation complète d'un Ovni 28 que je vais peut être pouvoir récupérer (plus de gréement (mât cassé et voiles rincées), plus de moteur in-board (il a pris feu et a ravagé les aménagements), et plus d’accastillage (le pont a été dépouillé))...

do you have any tips on installing the flying forestay? where are the attachment points so that it s not in the way of the furler and jib ?

also for your salt water pump, do you have two separate skin fittings ( one for the intake and one to empty the sink) or did you manage to fit something in the same one?

Sooner or later you will develop neck and back injuries by having to bend over like you do. I can tell you having a curved spine that is now causing my neck to clasp rendering me disabled and in pain is not what you want. Best to up grade as soon as able for your well being. I admire your courage to get out and sail. Thank you for taking us along.

I am upgrading my boat to an 26 ft sailing boat, As i am on my owen and have an disability, i think an 26 ft boat will be big enough for me, as i will have head room an mini bathroom and an large v berth with a gully will be ideal.
