This is the Lord’s work!! New sub here! 😊❤
Ответитьi saw cranberry sauce at a dollar tree near me - it was up by the register. i'll definitely make this (even though thanksgiving is over) and actually i have always been one to mix together everything (turkey, cranberry sauce, pie, mashed potatoes) on my plate....so this casserole is right up my alley lol
Ответитьwe don't even do thanksgiving here but i love you so much, you're so pleasant to watch
ОтветитьHey Rebecca, I watched your videos awhile ago and then saw that you're going viral, I truly hope you know how much your kindness and creativity has not only helped people have lovely dinners on a budget, but also bringing warmth to their holidays. We need warmth for one another during these times, especially in the future. I recently decided to eat as cheap as possible so I could give more to charity, and I wanted to say you are such a wonderful person. Looking forward to seeing more of your content and making tasty meals! I hope God blesses you for all your days.
ОтветитьNow this is content the world needs. Great job, thank you for making celebrations seem more accessible to people with lower income 🎉
ОтветитьI wish I would have found your channel when I was in college. ❤ the dinner looks amazing!
ОтветитьA note on those chewy Wether's caramels, friends -- if you're going to warm them up in the microwave, even with a splash or two of water in the bowl, MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON THEM WHILE THEY ARE HEATING UP!!!
Sincerely,
Someone who learned things the hard way 😑
So I peel the labels off my cans and cut my apples with the can. Probably not great but works so well.
ОтветитьI love your recipes, always an inspiration to many! I still make some of the recipes you've shared along the way. Keep doing amazing things for the community! I can't wait to see you in your new kitchen and love the OG one always!
ОтветитьHello my dear!
I made your great recipe but I tweaked it. Was so delicious!!! So, instead of a “casserole”, I added layers of pre-cooked lasagna sheets. Made a “Thanksgiving lasagna/casserole”!! Try it!! It was even more heartier and filling, plus more firm/sturdy to cut and serve. 😊😊😊
Thank you so much❤!!!
ОтветитьDang I wish I had watched this earlier- that casserole would’ve been PERFECT for my work potluck last week haha but I will definitely be making it regardless, I’ll just eat it all myself 😂
ОтветитьWoah that looks like the best way to make Mac and cheese
ОтветитьWhat size are the cans of turkey?
ОтветитьI think if you try pushing the cookie dough under a grater, that could work great as cookie crumbles. Anyway, this is a fantastic video.
Ответитьlooks disgusting and nothing is healthy at all ....
ОтветитьI have lot's of dietary restrictions atm, including dairy and starches like poatato and bread and get financial aid because of those special needs.
BUT, not so long ago, I made myself tea at work in a thermos i was gifted, because I saved the costs of teabags, energy and water all for the benefit of having something warm to drink in my unheated flat.
Thank you for doing this!
I don’t think you’re supposed to seal hot food and put it in the fridge right after………right???
ОтветитьEverything looks so tasty! Something I like to do with my mashed potatoes (I also used the Idahoan brand) is add about 3 tablespoons of sour cream. I use Daisy sour cream, but whatever brand you have will work. It adds such a creamy and slightly tangy flavor. It also masks the powdery flavor instant mash has. Just let your potatoes rest about 5 minutes to cool a bit before mixing it in. It works for any of the flavors, and also the original unseasoned one. Happy holidays!
ОтветитьI live in Europe and don't have access many of these products, but I love watching your recipes. It inspires me to do new things with ingredients I do have access to.
Also both the starter and the main are perfect recipes for using turkey dinner leftovers and make something completely new.
OMG this looks so freaking yummy 🤤 you are so creative! I'm grateful for your content!
ОтветитьI’m not sure if your dollar tree carries it but ground beef and condensed French onion soup with a bit of cornstarch for thickening makes a really easy and tasty Salisbury steak
ОтветитьCongratulations 👏🎉👏🎉 NBC News just popped up in my feed showing this video that went viral on Tiktok. I was so excited for you. Your content is the best. Your personality is incredible and you're always coming up with ways we can enjoy great meals on a budget. 8 million views on that video is ....idk...all I can say is WOW ❤ XOXO Dawn
ОтветитьI'm intrigued! The casserole and the dessert!
ОтветитьYour channel was just recommended to me and I think it’s absolutely phenomenal what you’re doing. I am truly fascinated by your creativity. I have bought the Betty Crocker pasta salads from $Tree, but seeing you take the time to plan meals out and give ideas to families who need to make their dollars stretch is amazing. Very beneficial content! 💞
ОтветитьYou are amazing! The meal is, too!
Ответитьsee i'm a southeast asian person who lives in southeast asia, i obviously don't have anything to do with thanksgiving or dollar trees, but i loved watching this. brings tears to my eyes in a good way. so wholesome and honest.
ОтветитьI am not sure if anyone has told you this yet, but there are some people that have put these meals all together in the 2 and half pound bags and sent them to families in the hurricane relief areas. I am not sure if they made it for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but that was so sweet of them and all thanks to you and your viral video. WTG. I'm sure that this will make them a great meal when they otherwise may not have even thought about being able to have a special meal on those days because of the inability to be able to use an oven or whatever. I made the casserole for my family with leftovers from Thanksgiving and they loved it.
ОтветитьI made this casserole 2024 and everyone loved it, thank you🙏
ОтветитьSorry but this is super unhealthy.
ОтветитьYou are extremely creative! Congratulations!
ОтветитьThis is awesome but I feel that going to a grocery store and buying generic instead of brand name would be cheaper. I think winco had the same swanson broth for $0.98 and the flav-o-rite and western family brands are even cheaper.
There is a video idea for you: $20 @ dollartree vs. $20 @ winco
This was really impressive and I hope that those in need were able to enjoy their holiday with this meal. ❤
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьImwo dring if youcould skip the oil anx fry and just bake the nac and cheese balls like one can bake "fried" chicken.
ОтветитьWow im gonna make that casserole
ОтветитьI shop more at Dollar General then I do at Dollar Tree cos where I happen to live the Dollar General Plus is cheaper cos they combined the Dollar Tree with Family Dollar
ОтветитьYou are so creative! I loved watching this video. ♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьThis looks like such an easy meal for ANY time of the year. And if you do have some extra funds, making the mashed potatoes from scratch or using a rotisserie chicken even would just add to a very good base recipe.
ОтветитьMaking this today! Alas, it looks like prices are starting to go up. All the packets of potatoes were $1.50 at two different Dollar Trees near me today.
ОтветитьThis meal looked yummy. I always use Stove Top Stuffing. I add in sauted onion, celery and cranberries. I love the light sweetness the cranberries add to the stuffing. Can't wait to try your cheese balls but I think I will add a little more cheese. Next time you make the carmel apple dessert, try using a can of biscuits for the crust. I made mine with the biscuits and it turned out so good. I could actually pick them up and eat them. You have so many great ideas and I love your videos.
ОтветитьI made it! Delicious and fun to make. Thank you for sharing your culinary skills.
ОтветитьI am trying the mac and cheese balls next.
ОтветитьIt blows my mind that this doesn’t have millions of views, since I’ve heard about it all over the interwebs! I’ve heard over and over how you’ve changed people’s lives and transformed their thanksgiving, so had to come check it out myself. You’re a hero 😊
ОтветитьYou can call your desert an apple tart
ОтветитьTurkey is the best part
ОтветитьI love these videos, but the chewing sounds make my skin crawl. 😭
ОтветитьRebecca, this was, not only a one pot miracle meal, but inexpensive enough to make-bake and minimal cleanup. You are my inspiration every single video. Happy Thanksgiving
