I've heard the Democratic Party say for FORTY YEARS that they "will lose two Leftists to gain one moderate" -- because they've been so f@cking arrogant to assume those Lefties will (mostly) still side with them after the DNC spits in their face. Very few moderates / independents / Independents / liberal Republicans have EVER voted D if they hadn't already intended to vote D. And in 2024, the Lefties and Progressives didn't give them a nice neat 99% of their votes. This was a self-inflicted disaster. It's far past time to flush the Corporatists out of the party.

I could tell you the main reason.. the country has been moving towards electing a populist for years..the right had Trump..the left had Bernie. The move towards a populist is a direct result of more than 50yrs of government bashing..by friends,family,the media and even strangers on the street..no one has anything good to say about the government. So an outsider like Trump appeals to these people…he says what they think..he promises what they want…he doesn’t deliver but he blames it on the government insiders and his followers eat it up..and the most important thing about him is he’s the rich guy’s populist.
Bernie will never win the Democratic primary because they don’t want a populist for the little guy..they would rather keep their power backing candidates that the average American sees as just another politician.

I’m 50 years old and had been registered independent up until 2008 when I switched to Dem. Ever since Obama left office I have felt that a vote for the Dems is just a vote against the far right. Bernie should have been the future of the Democratic Party and they blew it. It’s a shame that third party candidates are never going to win with the current system. I may just go back to being independent and let the Dems go and hope another Bernie type candidate comes along.

Me and my friend, both Australian, said that Trump just played a better game. He kept asking people at his rallies "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" and by having a question he poses DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE, it maintains the illusion that he is having a conversation directly with the people of America. Kamala didn't do that. Instead, she would always give wishy-washy responses (very scripted responses at that) that only really serve the purpose of trying to get her a "social media moment."

Let's face it - she didn't do a very good job. And it's not because she was too leftist - it's because she was afraid to say out-loud the actual intricacies of her policies because she's scared of the "too far left" rhetoric. Democrats are always kowtowing to the right by swinging to the right to win them over - yet right wing America NEVER does the same.

Maybe I'm an optimist. This may not sound very optimistic at first, but hear me our. Trump is going to ruin a lot he will disrupt everything . With this disruption, we all will have no choice but to come together and demand changes to everything. Demand real democracy not the made-up BS we have today. Everyone will have to awaken and make a change together because when we all unite for a better world, that change will have to happen. We all have stand united for this to happen. The way this will happen is for this to get worse for everyone, unfortunately. I hope it doesn't come down to that before a positive change happens. We all need to see this soon and make it better before it gets even worse.

Say good bye to government agencies and social programs. NASA is not secured in the Congressional budget. Neither is the Veterans Administration. Say good bye to housing aid and HUD programs. Say good bye to programs providing subsidies for utility aid to keep the electric and heat on for poor people. These Dems fucked these institutions HARD. Say good bye to aid programs. I’m tired of hetero spaces and places being systematically destroyed by overarching agendas.

We are seeing birth rate declines by US citizens at an all time low and quickly plummeting.

Until artificial synthetic birthing becomes a thing, you still need healthy hetero relations fostering nuclear families. You cannot just “adopt a child” your way out of this massive demographic problem.

I’m tired of seeing talented US citizens denied employment in favor of “buying” cheaper immigration replacement workers because it’s easier to plug them into the system than fix our culture to allow nuclear families to form and grow.

I’m tired of being homeless in my car, pooping in a bucket, while “naturalization” policies grant new peoples housing, cars, bank accounts, and endless aid. US citizens should come first. Then foreigners. Period.

It is a liability to be a US citizen compared to being an “asylum” seeker.

There is room for everybody. However, there needs to be a priority for US citizens first and foremost. This was abolished.

The only programs that should receive future funding are space, ITER fusion energy research, and CERN particle physics studies. These are the last bastions of hope for the people at this point.

I have great respect for Bernie Sanders. I do not know how he endures. The Democrats are irredeemable. America's working-class needs, and deserves a NEW political party. If Bernie Sanders started a NEW political party, I would stand with Bernie until the end of the line.
