That's pretty interesting, I didn't know they could be atheist religions but if you take the definition of the word at its face value, it makes sense. Is there maybe a word for being both anti-god and anti-religion? Maybe anti-spirituality altogether? But then, I don't like the word anti because it implies hostility.

Anyway, another great video man! Critically underrated channel but it's clear you're doing this out of passion, which I appreciate.

See, here'z the problem: "God does not exist" does not accurately represent atheism, and you say it yourself, that part of the spectrum is indifference. That's not believing there is no god, it's simply lacking belief.

And that's what atheism is really about: having no belief in any gods.
Not declaring that there is no god; non-belief, and non-belief for any reason, is all it takes to be an atheist. Being an atheist is simply the state of not being a theist.

Ask any atheist who speaks on this topic, and that's what they'll tell you.

Etymological pedantry will do you no favors, here; you'll only misrepresent those about whom you're speaking.

Theist: "I believe there is at least one god." Soft atheist: "There may be a god or gods but I'm not compelled to believe either way." Hard atheist: "There may be a god or gods but I'm compelled to believe there aren't." It's not rocket science.

It's funny how theists will define the atheist position in relation to "God." But whether hard or soft atheism it's a position about gods. Not God. GODS! Defining atheists as "Those who don't believe in God" is what I call Theocentrism. Theists just don't get it: there are billions of religious people in this world who don't believe in God.

Theism - belief in a god (any god)

Atheism - a meaning not, so literally not-theism; thus not belief in a god (non-belief in all gods)
Polytheism - poly meaning many, thus belief in many gods
Monotheism - mono meaning one, only, or single; thus belief in [only/one/single] god
Pantheism - pan meaning all, thus belief all is a god

It really isn't hard.

The vast majority of people don't believe in the thousands of gods who are, or have been worshipped. Atheists take this to the logical conclusion.

Atheism= "I know everything and you're stupid if you don't agree with me"

If I may add, άθεος wasn't just a slur, it was slur for the official crime of not practising the state religion (impiety). This type of blasphemy law was also in practice in Rome, which led to the execution of some early Christians, specifically because they were convicted of atheism.
A raw translation of the word would be godless, plain an simple.
Once Christianity took over through the first Christian Caesars then Imperators, the Roman religion was subsequently forbidden, its temples closed, and any transgression was severely punished by death and other delicacies. Christian Chruch Fathers redefine the word impiety in a Christian context, invented the word heresy to qualify and criminalize any competing church challenging the Nicene Creed, and defined atheism as unbelief, since unbelief in God was basically impiety in their opinion.
The Holy Inquisition burned at the stake more than their fair share of Unbelievers as it was still a crime punishable by death. Whence Greek and Roman literature was rediscovered in Renaissance, scholars reassigned and vindicated the term Atheism as being equal to unbelief or total impiety. It took until the 18th century and the emergence of Enlightenment ideas for this crime to gradually cease to be one, as many philosophers of the time came to refute the revelations and embrace Deism. Naturally, as they were effectively atheists but still argued for the existence of a supreme Being, theologians and scholars alike were in disarray and unprepared to defend against the rise of Deism, which drove a lot of people into anticlerical practices.
In this context Atheism became less of a crime, and more of a new social phenomenon that the Church was complaining about. It didn't hold enough power or street cred anymore to sanction it as a blasphemous crime (well, except in the British Kingdom up until the 19th century, these guys have a hard time removing old blasphemy, even when they don't use them anymore). Atheism achieved its growth as an tolerated stance somewhere in the 19th century. Tolerated, but not appreciated, and rather discriminated against, especially in the intellectual circles. The famous Free Mason lodges for example, were notorious for their refusal to welcome Atheists, requiring of their members to believe in one of the Abrahamic faiths. Even today, Atheism is still held by many traditional Christians as a word with a distinct stain of impiety and blasphemy.
The natural revulsion and systematic destruction of impiety by the religious is something I find oddly fascinating, namely due to the possible underlying reasons behind it, and what it can tell us about the religious mindset.

Isn't Atheism, Christianity, Buddhism and every other religion technically the same, every religion or belief is just a theory, something you and me have chosen to believe in and therefore every sort of belief is equally wrong or right until the opposite is proven.

A-theism: a non-belief regarding all the theism found in the writings of ancient and modern religious manuscripts.
Deism: a belief regarding a first-cause creator found in the fine tuning, complexity, and beauty that is present within the creation.
