People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them.

With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner.

For the first time ever, I didn't mind a man kissing a girl other than his fiancee/wife. I feel totally understanding and empathetic for them. Now that I know what it means by "don't judge a book by its cover", because there're a whole lot stories behind every scene that we actually see every day. Thanks Netflix for opening my eyes!

I just finished binging this show in one sitting. It is truly once of the best tragic romantic comedy that's been produced for quite a while, that literally hits every genre I mentioned—the pining, the witty banter and its delivery which actually makes you laugh, and of course, the heart-twisting scenes that my nose got clogged. All of the characters were written with depth that you can empathize with them. Leo and Ambika were perfectly casted, as well. Just overall, a really good show.

This scene hit me so hard because it was so relatable for me with my guy bestfriend we were friends and now we aren’t I hope one day we can reconcile the way they did even just as friends.

The older I get, the more I realize not all kisses are for romance. In moments like this, a kiss provides a way to communicate when there's no words left to say. At thirty-one, I've learned to interpret this type of kiss as the muscle memory of being close. Your heart notices the distance and begs for validation: "Are we still good?". It's simultaneously ultimately sincere and meaningless.

Of course, for the series, this scene was part of a sensational romantic slow burn. But I've shared a kiss like this where it's only meaning was getting full closure. Just a final acknowledgement of the love you hold for the shared past, no longer longing for any of that to exist in the future. And there's peace and beauty in that too.

One of my favorite and the best romantic shows/movie's to come out in a long time. Great chemistry and love story - had me ugly crying at the end.

Watched this show KNOWING the outcome from watching the movie years ago. Yet stilllll…every emotion! Idk if I like Jim or Leo better as Dexter. But emotionally…they both delivered! Amazinggg ❤

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I think we look at these two with rose tinted glasses and romanticise them but I’m not sure he ever would have gone towards Emma if things didn’t sour with his wife so I’m not sure Emma is /was his ‘one true love’ . I think she was just his emotional support cushion. It just became convenient for them to be together.

Oh fuck this show. The ending sucked.
