Seiko 5 is Seiko. So not sure why you include Seiko 5. That makes no sense. If you talk about Lorus that's another thing. But the Seiko 5 is a Seiko. And $2000 is not something anyone normal would spend on a watch. People spending this much are women. As a woman spending this on a handbag. That is not a real man. A real man would never spend more than $1000 on a watch. My grandpa was a multimillionaire and said don't be foolish- don't ever buy a Cadillac or a luxury watch. smart advice. He had a Chrysler and a Citizen watch. He spent his millions wisely. Not like a fool. Or a woman.
ОтветитьThx for this very interesting video
ОтветитьFunnily enough, AMZWATCH's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
ОтветитьDon’t call $2300 affordable for the masses. 99% of the public would be unwilling to pay that amount for a watch. Even if they could afford it, 99% don’t value watches that way.
ОтветитьI think you forgot what the word Affordable means! Skill love the channel though!
ОтветитьB Swiss is the worst to watch name I've ever heard lol and I've heard a lot of watch names
ОтветитьAnyone else notice that people who collect watches are not very bright?
ОтветитьDepends on the case (situation). Some brands do it well (like MAD which would be great piece on it’s own), others shouldn’t do it at all. Seiko and Grand Seiko are example of “in the middle”, because of the huge confusion about movements and how they are regulated (some Seikos have same movements as GS but manual often mentions same accuracy and with solid case backs it’s impossible to see finishing).
ОтветитьI have collected watches for 40 years and have very high end and lower priced watches. I buy what I like and price and name have never went into my decision. I have been fortunate to be in that position. If you are not, there are so many great watches out there that you should have to compromise on your decision.
ОтветитьThere I was thinking you were going to talk about budget alternatives like Seiko, Lotus, Pulsar (I believe no longer operating) and Alba 😉
ОтветитьSeiko has a bunch of budget brands like Loris, Alba, Wired and Pulsar. They have others (like Ingenu and Riki) but its a bit hard to tell if they're separate brands or just series made by one of the other brands.
ОтветитьGreat stuff! Not sure what mainstream masses can afford a two grand watch, so I'd not say most of these are in easy reach, which is why they keep strong cache, enough to rival or exceed their much pricier high end counterparts (which are so outlandish in cost that only the ultra rich can afford). I think only snobs could look down on these slightly less costly treasures. In the case of Rolex and Tudor, I think Tudor is preferable, and can seem very humanly high end, rather than just out of touch flaunting (or trying to flaunt) wealth. The M.A.D.S. 1 is a stunner, and used ones, at five grand USD, would be impractical but very fun to own. Excellent list!
ОтветитьCan you say what is the manufacturing cost of a watch???
ОтветитьCaravelle by Bulova is another one
ОтветитьYou can add Anordain and Paulin to the list. Great video!
ОтветитьCool vid. Always great finding alternative watches to bigger brands. I’ll save to save this one.
ОтветитьI wasn’t aware Rolex had a sister brand called Twodr, are they positioned above or below Tudor?
Ответить"For the masses"? Pretty discouraging when you can't even afford the "For the masses" brands.
ОтветитьNice to hear about some of these brands although they are hardly affordable. I believe most people would consider $500 and below as affordable or even under $1000, but at over $3000 to $5000, that’s not really an affordable price range for most.
ОтветитьThis was a highly informative video. I was unaware of most of these brands. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьDidnt Bucher merge with Swatch or something to that effect?
ОтветитьGreat info…
ОтветитьThose Grones are very interesting….
Ответить“ Oh, I see Sir, MB&F at the base, entry level. Of course :-) ! May we here at Slopensteins offer you, @$65K, the simple beauty of nature itself? !” “The MAD Galleries! Of course. A perfect enthusiasts watch!”
ОтветитьI always learn something from your videos. Best on the tube. Thanks
ОтветитьCalling Tudor affordable is a joke, right?
ОтветитьVery informative video. I didn't knew about CF Bucherer and Gronefeld. Actually, Raymond Weil had one such sub-brand. If I remember correctly, they named it based on a address of street.
ОтветитьBitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting new high prices, showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 27B'tc....At the heart of this evolution is Aria Cookings Crypto, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment.
ОтветитьNothing to see here, keep your money in your pocket or invest wisely
ОтветитьWhat about Anordain and Paulin?
