Great how to video, ideas for tarps. I like the tarp. I really been thing about investing in a good tarp. I been using cheap ones for the past few years.
ОтветитьThanks for a great review with good suggestions on how to configure the tarp. The 10 in XP10 refers to the size, in the metric system the tarp is roughly 10 square meter. Atb/Layjay
ОтветитьThere are allot of fabrics that stretch or sag once you set them up rain will also cause sag in many fabrics, What a shock chord does is help keep tension in your setup without having to re tension
ОтветитьIt's a Tarp, not a tent, even says it on the bag!!! 😉 sorry, couldn't resist. Personally I swear by Hilleberg, took my Staika out on one of the UK's highest peaks in winter when the meteorological office had issued a 'red' blizzard warning for that area. 90mph winds were recorded and -22c windchill. The wind was relentless. The Staika performed the same way as it does in 20mph. The material rattles, but any good tents inner should do that as its absorbing the excess energy, if to taught and unable to flap a little the only movement will be when it fails, which in those conditions can prove fatal. That said, the poles and outer didn't move an inch. Hilleberg are renowned in Europe as the best bar none, and this was yet another example of why I own several. As per usual a great review. Any chance of reviewing the Tarra please? It's classed as their strongest 2 person tent, and is my next purchase, so would be nice to see on as indepth as yours. Kindest regards,

That hammock seems way too small for you.
Ответить3.5meterX2.9m=10.15m thats why they call it Xp10 I think.
ОтветитьWhen you use the pole, loop the line around it as well as the ring.
