Thank you! I’m just starting into this!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing so much of what you do. You are an inspiration! I would like to try the Golden Book Journal but I have a question. Is there something I can substitute for Tyvek?
ОтветитьI sell my journals for $35. So far no one has balked at that price and I’m fine with it. It’s a labor of love for me and I don’t make them to make money anyway. I think you price is fine, and it really doesn’t matter what you charge if you can’t sell them! But if you see they are being sold quickly, you might want to raise your price. In looking on Etsy, most LGB junk journals are listed for up to $125! WOW! Your journals are delicious; hope you did well at your craft fair
ОтветитьWhat kind of glue is that for repairing the book?
ОтветитьVerry Cute
ОтветитьEasiest one I've seen so far!
ОтветитьI go to Canton too!! I'm in Houston

ОтветитьWhat glue bottle are you using and what tip?
ОтветитьI’m going to try and make one. 😅. Were these 1” wide cardboard for the base?
ОтветитьWhere is the (or was ) the craft fair?
ОтветитьI love these, so cute. The last (and only) time I face planted was a mall parking lot. I literally hit the pavement with my face. I broke my glasses, split my lip, and had a black eye for months. I also broke my foot!
ОтветитьLove this so much!!

ОтветитьLet's just say I Make Junk journals for the past 15 years. After watching this video I kept saying work smarter not harder. There was so many easier ways to do what you were doing. There was so many extra things you could have done to really enhance the book. As for the Santa Claus it's your fault you spent more money on purchasing the book. But the inside cover with all the scribbles from the child should have been covered and no way are these books worth 25 $30 if you make $10 on one of these books you'll be lucky people just don't spend that kind of money for this stuff I was kind of shocked when I saw the end result. You would really have to step it up and add some sewing and some tags and some more Rick rack and extra things but you could have used a exacto knife with one slice and cut off the binding and the pages also could have used 2 1/2 inch double-sided tape for your fabric spine could have put book edges made of metal Undercovers. Find your books for cheap or free we Crafters never even break even with supplies versus selling price
ОтветитьSo curious how did you end up pricing them and how did they sell? You made them so adorable and interactive!!
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьYou shared some great tips!
ОтветитьI love these! I've watched many videos of these Golden Books and each and every time I learn something new. I loved the way you did the book pages. Really lovely. I hope you sold them all? 🌷
ОтветитьMy heart sank watching you tear this book aprt i have mine from the yea i was born.
ОтветитьWhat is a signature page?????
Ответитьundercharging, i charge at least 45-55 CDN for them
ОтветитьWhere did you get that glue bottle? Need one.
ОтветитьBroken toes will heal within a week.
ОтветитьWhere do you get your cards and tags?
ОтветитьWhy dont you add ribbon tabs or paper tabs to the edge of each page to dress it up?
ОтветитьAbsolutely adorable! I love them! $40 would be sufficient but I understand craft shows. People think things should be cheap. But with everything you added plus the book is old counts for a lot!
ОтветитьSo cute! Thanks for sharing! Hope your tow gets better!
