I startet watching this video because you wrote Samsung Galaxy S22 in the it's title. But it's frustrating that you show a Samsung Galaxy Ultra in this video instead of Samsung Galaxy S22 😞

The selfie camera zooms in because it makes your face look better, in the same way that portait photos are taken in 3x zoom because it makes it look better. In my opionion, and for sure since the last updates, leave focus enhancer on.

Why cant I see my screen out in the sun when other people's screen shows up fine. I can't see Subject front sun glare . My husband has a s 23 and can see outside sun people just fine . The glaw makes my screen look blank

You gave good info but used the worst background to show color of video and camera effects. Next time use a colorful background and outside.

Why are some of my setting options different than yours? I don't have the option for 'Selfie color tone' and 'picture formats' is called 'advanced picture options' but it's all the same options once tapped.

Sometimes, I give someone my phone to take a picture of me and it gives me the 'super skinny' look for some reason. I'm legally blind and am not sure what many of the icons mean so I just hand them the phone with th 1x selected but it still seems to be the case

Hey Rick I just have the s22 what's the best settings for sunset? Everytime I take a picture comes out to orange to red it's not really accurate to what I'm actually seeing.

I noticed that the new Lightroom AI denoise algorithm doesn't work with this phone's recent DNG files.
I went back to RAW photos I shot in December, and guess what? Those RAW photos can be denoised by the new LR algorithm!

After digging deeper, I realised that something happend in between.
Most likely, a firmware update screwed things up.

When analysing the EXIF data, we can clearly see that the new DNGs are not uncompressed RAW anymore, but Linear RAW with embedded JPEG compression.
This explains why LR AI Denoise doesn't work on these files anymore

I suspect that the problem started sometimes in April, when Expert RAW was added as an option inside the default camera app, in Pro mode.

Expert RAW always had these linear RAW files (since these are HDR DNGs), and I suspect that when the two things were combined, the Expert RAW DNG generating algoritm replaced the original RAW algorithm. Not good.

Also, as a side note: The x3 and x10 sensors have 10Mpix native resolution (3648 x 2736), but the outputs of Expert RAW and the regular camera app in photo mode are 12Mpix (4000 x 3000)!

So Expert RAW is upscaling the output of the x3 and x10 cameras. This is not what RAW files are supposed to do. It only confirms that the DNG is in fact a JPEG file in a DNG container.

I also checked an older S10 5G. Guess what? It outputs uncompressed RAW. Probably because camera Pro was not altered by Expert RAW, since it is only compatible with S20 and above!
What a shame!

Not sure I see Timelapse there (Same as Hyperlapse?) but (as a very amateur but keen photographer) is there a way to move the pro settings entirely on to manual in video mode - e.g. when sun sets, the shot actually does become darker rather than the camera adjusting automatically? I am thinking particularly for video...

hi, i have a problem. i need to use front camera (same model) to record using tiktok camera (because i hate touch up my face), or record using capcut (because there is a teleprompter) then i edit using cap cut, but then when i export the video, the video is not that sharp as the first time i record using tiktok cam or capcut. Can u make a video on how to use front camera with those apps which doesnt affected the quality of the video? 😅

I am filming with two Samsung S22+ smartphones and although I calibrate the white balance (VideoMore settings) the tint of the colours in the finished film product varies. How can you configure both cameras for identical-ish colour filming settings?
