Party officials officials have tearing down people's homes and selling the land to developers for years, but now they've taken it one step further. In Xi'an City, the plan is to knock down parts of a 1,300-year-old temple so they can build a souvenir shop. It would effectively make the temple just a money making tourist trap and forcing the monks to leave. But this temple houses the bones of Xuanzang, the famed monk from Journey to the West. And while in Journey to the West, he had the Monkey King Sun Wukong on his side, now he has the people of China fighting to protect him and the cultural heritage of China.

Wow, the communist regime of china need's to be taught some serious lessons. If The U.S wasn't so far gone maybe something could actually have been done about giving china back to its people. Now were more likely to see China take over the world with no real superpowers to stop them.

Study Chris, pretty soon you will know that austerity is better than speciosity. The translation of “Notting Hill” (the name of the movie) in China (mainland) is “诺丁山”. The translation in Taiwan is“新娘百分百”and the Hong Kong version is “摘星奇缘” Are you sure the Taiwan or Hong Kong style is better.

The simple version Chinese character “love”爱 is putting a hat on a friend’s head just like on commencement. “进” looks like walk into a well because it means getting into somewhere, not up to somewhere. I am not a communist fun but you are not on the right track. You are carping on the wrong direction . The Chinese regime agree with you that the “cultural revolution” is a disaster. Xi Jinping had hard time during the cultural revolution himself.

玄奘 was one tough boss-猪八戒 RE: 汉字,The characters and the characters using their radicals such as 龍,愛,東,車, and to a lesser extent風,門,馬,鳥,貝,言,見,書 add clarity to the meaning of their logograms. I think they should be reinstated. But 個,電,點,遠,喜歡,漢,過,國,etc. vs. 个,电,点,远,喜欢,汉,过,国, etc. come on. Clarity of meaning is marginal at best, slows and makes more difficult writing, reading, and learning. The ancient scholars wanted it that way to keep just anyone joining the bureaucrats at the time.

进(enter) is prononced almost like the word 井(hole) so it's logic.

First simplified characters were introduced in the Qin dynasty (221-226 BC). It's not an idea of the communist party.

as Chinese growing up, im almost numb abt this cause the Forbidden City where I live nearby presented itself to my friends and relatives differently every time. Constantly in construction all year around, vulgar embellishments, shameless souvenir stores.....i havent taken anyone there for like 10 years now. its such a disgrace
