3 “ dad thought it was to revealing” ok kinda valid , a dad only wanting to protect his daughter. But I don’t think it’s too revealing,
4 “ her sister wore black to prom the year before “ who cares if your sister wore black the year before , it’s the past . Let her wear what she wants to wear , even if it’s the same style or not , she should get to wear whatever dress she wants . Saying you can’t wear a dress just because you wore the same color. Is toxic

so why are the dresses so sl'tty? Why are we expected to look like trash? Classic beauty means classic.

Ok, to me it doesn’t matter if someone you knew wore that color to prom a previous year because very few people (if anyone) is going to remember. There’s only so many colors, just wear what you love!
