If they could figure out how to add a bunk for a second dedicated bed(room) I would be a lot more interested in this. Couples campers don’t work for us.
ОтветитьI’m good with the back patio and the sliding door at the back, but that’s way too much glass. The radius shower is a no thank you
ОтветитьGood morning sir good job good begins
ОтветитьSome sort of RVing is in my future so I have limited experience. But lose the rear deck, why have one? I understand a toy hauler where you can use the ramp as a rear deck, but in a regular trailer, just go out the door under the awning.
ОтветитьWay to many windows period
ОтветитьDinette wasted space!
ОтветитьRandom notes: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the greenhouse room in the rear. If I ever found a nice camp space that would be wonderful. Love the walking space around the bed and space beside each bed. Agree that there is no good reason not to include full queen mattress. I can live with a pass through bath, but cannot live with a radius shower. I would rather delete the dinette to be able to move the refrigerator into the slide and have counter space with base cabinets and a nice window in the slide. This would allow the bath to extend a bit and permit a rectangular shower. A folding table and chairs for dining in the rear space would allow for more enjoyment of the view.
ОтветитьDo not like the shower......and overall I'd rather have a toy hauler......I think it would be more comfortable...would not buy one of these
ОтветитьAdd a full screen to the porch
ОтветитьThis floorplan has potential👍but no comfortable seating “option” for the humongous diner booth dinette, a small camp queen mattress, a tiny elbow banging radius shower, a cheap plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan are huge misses☹️
ОтветитьI like it just not the vents in the floor. Also thumbs down on the door in the bedroom. I'd just enter from the deck. Great video, as always, Josh.
ОтветитьAwesome idea, Rather than curtains roll down shades with reflective backs to help with the solar heating of the sun room and improve privacy. If it has to have a slide, then make it a useable when closed slide, like the Ember slides. As many below have said, being able to bug screen the patio is crucial. Dinettes are becoming dated, a versa desk or a free standing table and chairs also better. I don't mind the walk through bathroom, it gives more sound proofing to the bedroom if one wants to take a nap while the other is banging about. The Samsung projector is great you can cast your phone to it, so depending on your plan you don't even need wifi from a park or other service.
ОтветитьYes Josh I thi k going with o ly the Slider door at back is the way to go, Catalina did a very good job on this new model👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
ОтветитьJosh I like this version vs the toy hauler
ОтветитьUnique for sure. I see that it has a ladder prep on the side. Does it come with the extension ladder? I don’t recall, is it solar prepped and if so how much? Catalina if you are reading this, since it’s a prototype model, fully max the roof with solar of you would please. Thank you.
ОтветитьI really love the deck. As a weekend warrior it would be neat to have a little deck but didn’t want to go the route of toy hauler decks…I have a hybrid and not a fan of open and close…plus higher probability of leakage down the road…love your videos! Thx for sweatin’ to the oldies! LoL
ОтветитьMake it an option to keep all the glass doors on all 3 sides in the back. Some of us do want to trailer to park for great views...overlooking Lake Michigan!
ОтветитьI could almost persuade my wife to one of these if not for the slide. That and the need to sell an almost 1,400 acre ranch in western Montana.
ОтветитьInteresting concept. Are you hearing anything from manufacturers about new models coming with patios that are not a true toy hauler? Something with flexible inside configurations like Embark offers would be great
ОтветитьI agree windows and not leaking sliding doors
Ответитьtoooo cheap looking after the windows
ОтветитьA bunkhouse or 3rd stationary bed would be cool for little ones 😊
ОтветитьLove it!e and the wife want one
ОтветитьPossibility of tie downs in back or porch to secure ebikes or other toys while traveling?
ОтветитьLose the dinette. Extend the slide on the drivers side.
ОтветитьI would buy this as my semi-full time RV but they have to keep the patio and the large windows in the living area. I have a couple ways to try and make the windows work. Instead of sliding doors on the side go with the standard floor to ceiling windows. To deal with the heat from the afternoon sun they could go with an awning above each of the two floor to ceiling windows. Also use a pull up style heat resistant shade. The pull up shade on a built in track would allow us to block out the view from the bottom up to still offer privacy when needed but have some good light coming in. Also maybe some heat resistant glass may help. The pull down screen for the projector is a little big. Maybe cut that in half. All in all. To park that beauty backed up to the lake or ocean view with those large windows and a patio would be awesome. And all in a smaller footprint which a lot of people would want. Thanks for posting this one. I'll ne tracking it.
ОтветитьI really like the design of this RV. Especially like the sliding glass doors. However, I can appreciate that as beautiful and nice as they are it may not be the most practical solution in the long run. As a concept I think it’s 100% spot on. I’m not surprised that they reached out to you to communicate their product. Your personable, knowledgeable and in your videos I can easily see how can connect with their customer base and present their product in a fair and knowledgeable manner. If I could afford it second RV, I think it might be this one..
ОтветитьCool idea ! Ventless flooring and pocket doors would be cooler !
ОтветитьLove it!❤
ОтветитьSoooo...here it goes.
1. If the sliding doors are removed please give full floor to ceiling windows.
2. Square shower stall not round.
3. Remove the storage cabinet in the living room by the slide, extend that bathroom wall and put a little extra storage in the bathroom to compensate but added width on the toilet would be greatly appreciated.
4. If there is any way the rear deck could extend, just a couple of feet either with power or manual would be great.
5. Offer moveable table and chairs so you could swap the love seat location and dining location. Would love to have breakfast of dinner surrounded by windows.
6. Hookups outside for TV on porch
The next phase would be putting out quality, inspected and tested before leaving the factory products, adequate insulation, adequate frame, no cheap crap. This thing is stick and tin. That's the bottom of the barrel for a travel trailer.
ОтветитьI don't have a comment on this unit. I am wondering if they have a quality control where they build the go play line. I just bought a 2024 go play 263 th . And I am pretty sure I will not be purchasing another one. I have 6 things on warranty repair list for the first return . I just went through the trailer again and found probably 6 more things. Half the screws on the ramp on one side are missing. The shower is not attached to the walls like it should be . The ceiling is loose. Flooring has a big bubble in it . Did these inspectors used to work for boeing. I am really thinking I got a lemon. Any suggestions. Thanks
ОтветитьThe shower is not a good thing if you want room to move around.
ОтветитьCould get those magnetic curtains from the 2000's infomercials & enclose the patio & keep it "bug proof"
(Yes I changed my name, iykyk)
This wouldn't be the one for me. However, you did a video about 4 years ago on a rig that had the rear/center kitchen, sliding glass door in the side and a drop down patio deck. THAT was an awesome rig! I can't find that vid in my favorites, but I know I have it somewhere :) Thanks for sharing this one, good stuff!
ОтветитьIf I remember right, Timberlodge back in the 80s .
ОтветитьGreat area for my baby grand piano or my jazz band.
ОтветитьAbout time one of these "tiny homes" came with at least ONE slide
ОтветитьI like the concept but most places I’ve camped have a rear facing site that faces the rear of a bunch of other campers Now, sliding that puppy up to the side of a lake - there’s a different story!
ОтветитьScreens for the patio area. So you can be outside without getting devoured by bugs.
ОтветитьRecommend keeping the back patio sliding door, but get rid of the overhang and tiny deck. Replace the overhang and tiny deck with a toy hauler door that will drop down into a large deck and put an awning on the back that will cover the deck. That way in tow mode, you don’t have such a huge area hanging behind the axles, and that RV garage door will protect all the glass in tow mode, and it would protect it during a storm, storage or the upcoming zombie apocalypse. 😂
ОтветитьThe patio on the new Wildwood 22 extends out and gives better seating space, along with an outdoor kitchen, which is a bigger pull for me. I do really like the big side doors, the windows they’ll be replaced with need to be really big with how dark the millennial beige makes this interior. Interior feels basic compared to the Wildwood. I am seriously shopping for a camper and the patios are pulling me in, it would be easy to add mosquito netting and leave the door open. very curious how this will turn out.
ОтветитьWhy are the doors above the bed backwards? You have to reach around them to get into the storage space?
ОтветитьI love a lot of things about this RV, especially the projection system, but please, please, please, stop putting in floor vents. It's awful for pets and those of us who don't wear shoes inside.
ОтветитьReally like the sliding doors on sides. Would be great with them open. Curtain rods and curtains look very old fashion and bad. Interior surfaces including ceiling look very cheap.
ОтветитьPrivacy shades on doors should be standard across the board, it’s not like anyone wants to be in view while they’re changing or in bed!
ОтветитьI’ve been on every form of social media and I’ve yet to find an owner of any of the Catalina destination, trailers or this hybrid destination, travel trailer. There apparently selling tons of them, but I can’t find one photo one post one video anywhere of owners who has one.
