Have you noticed there’s no more give and go no more looking for the open man it’s all shooting 30 40 ft or more shots. With this kind of play there will be a 4pt shot and that’ll be the end of the game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьJordan got swept by Birds Celtics both years they played them.
ОтветитьChief!
ОтветитьI love this except for the Bob Ryan parts...🤮🤮

ОтветитьHow is The NBA championship "a world title?" It's a domestic league in the USA.
ОтветитьRIP Bill Walton
ОтветитьBird is the best forward in nba history. Period
ОтветитьScott Wedman isn't mentioned often enough
ОтветитьAs a Rockets fan, it was a minor miracle they pushed the 86 Celtics to 6 games in the Finals. Blowing out the Celtics in Game 5 is still a great memory!
ОтветитьJohnny Most was such a homer. Pathetic.
ОтветитьRIP Bill Walton
ОтветитьThat was good but they should have cut it off after the 86 season. No reason to include the bad shit after.
ОтветитьHoly cow I totally forgot in 1986 you had the Red Sox in WS, Patriots in SB, and the Celtics in the finals.
ОтветитьCeltic for life!
ОтветитьCeltics jaylen
🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🤘🤘💵💵💵🤘👀👀👀😎😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💰💰🎤
Bird is my all time favorite athlete in any sport. What toughness and heart that guy had. He’s the true GOAT.
ОтветитьThose boston sports analysts and sports writers if bird pulled his pants down they would drop to there knees
ОтветитьThe underdog Patriots had no chance.
ОтветитьWhich one of you guys? It was which one of you ladies...
ОтветитьI will never understand how that city allowed the Boston Garden to catch a wrecking ball. Never. That place was basketball. It was also one of the epicenters of hockey. If it didn’t deserve landmark status neither does the colosseum in Rome.
ОтветитьI think about this team....
About as much as they think about me.... which is to say NEVER. FCK the 86 Celtics and every year before - and since - the 86 Celtics..... and if you are reading this comment, you're a bigger loser than you think, because A) I'm fcking with you and B) who gives a fck what I think? Why would you read the comments? You know I'm right.
86 Celtics vs 96 bulls who is the best team ever
ОтветитьGreat documentary. Got me out my head for an hour and a half
ОтветитьMy favorite US professional sports team all time...Born in 52'. ESPN ranks Bird as the 3est greater player in the last century...hahahaha...ESPN sucks & is the cancer of US Sport...LA shot 30 3 threes...Auerbach was livid & should have been... Red was the best talent evaluator in sport...West as 2nd...Saban 3rd...
ОтветитьBoston racist white team. No respect for Bill Russel years when he won 11 championships, then celtics nation comes around with white roster. I am a boston native too
ОтветитьIt should have been the Lakers in the finals in 1986 i remember Houston miss up the ratings for CBS in 86
ОтветитьI was born in 1971 and grew up watching this RIVALRY!!! The BEST rivalry in Basketball in the 80s!!! The 80s and the 90s were the BEST era in the NBA, if you weren't there YOU don't have a clue!! The NBA is soft as hell, and the old guys like me and my buddies DON'T WATCH THE NBA JUNGLE BALL LEAGUE ANYMORE!!! BUNCH OF SISSIES IN THE NBA NOW, 2 WNBA RACIST JUNGLE BALL LEAGUES!!!
ОтветитьIts kind of sad how greats are in someways forgotten.
I know people know how great Red Auerbach was as a coach and GM, but the guy has THE argument to be considered the GOAT of both.
I play 2k every year, and I always create two players in MyCareer. Larry Bird, and Bill Walton. Bird is my favorite player of all time, and Bill Walton is one of my favorite people ever. Was such a great player too. Without his injuries, hes up there with Wilt, Kareem, Olajuwon, Shaq, ANY of the all time great big men.
And Ive hated the Celtics since the 1980s.
The 1985-86 sports teams were something special this time period. The '85 Bears, the 85-86 Celtics, the '86 Mets.
But Bias though, as tragic as his death was, he was a coke head. Even if he hadn't died, there's a chance if he made the NBA, secrets come out eventually. How many suspensions would Boston have to deal or trouble would he have been in with the Celtics.
Once you root for a team like the 1986 Celtics, basketball is ruined because you will never see a team that good ever again. They were smart, talented, had balls and were coached very well. No current team compares to the 86 Celtics.
ОтветитьIt was a half arsed title because they didn't beat the Lakers
ОтветитьPeople really say “today’s game is as physical as the games of the past” 😂😂😂 what a joke
ОтветитьIf Bias was there, they win the next 5 years.
ОтветитьHopefully 1none of the guys were really rooting for the pattiots at their super bowl party😂...that was the worst whooping of all time the bears were playing backups midway in the 3rd qtr
ОтветитьBoston Celtics fans: "We lost in '85, but we still were the better team!?🤔😵💫🤣
ОтветитьThis Celtic team would have wiped the floor if they played the 95-96 Bulls and the 2015-16 Warriors.
ОтветитьRobert Parrish looks younger today than he did in 1986
ОтветитьThose World Champion hats are ridiculous
ОтветитьI bet Bill Walton loved the fact that his head coach in Boston was "Casey Jones"
ОтветитьSome nights I listen/rewatch games recently watched some games from 83,84,85,86,87
ОтветитьVocalist Jerry Garcia 😅
ОтветитьAs a die hard sixers fan that 86 Celtics team was simply maavelous
ОтветитьI am curious to see how this Celtic team would match up against the 96-97 Bulls.
ОтветитьInjuries killed Boston in 85 and 87, they were worn down in 88...The injuries kept piling up on the starting 5 plus wedman and Walton only had 1 year 86
ОтветитьFunny how Larry said I hope they remember 33 in the banners. Trust me they will never forget you ever. Best all around forward in the game period.
ОтветитьEven though I have always been a die-hard Lakers fan, I will acknowledge that the Boston Celtics' championship squad of 1985-1986 – AKA 'Sweet Sixteen' – was my personal favorite. The late Bill Walton was both 'The Sixth Man of the Year' and a member of the the Celtics' championship squad. Of course, the Celtics' 'Sweet Sixteen' championship season was overshadowed by the tragic death of Len Bias – NCAA standout from the University of Maryland (College Park, MD).
