I got the 65 LG C3 for $1299 which I think is the lowest price I have seen it sell for. Amazing TV.

If you’re on the fence this late since the C3’s launch in 2023, just buy it. I got the 77” for less than $2100 out the door in Dec ‘23. Like he said, it’s a stellar TV. Plenty bright enough for most anyone except the most demanding TV snob. I actually had to turn my brightness down. You definitely won’t get buyers remorse like you definitely may with the latest and greatest from Sony with literally marginal differences in picture quality.

i'm very indicisive about C3 vs S90C, but i just can't trust QD-OLED durability and LG just seems to be more "correct" in terms of pure image/color accuracy, with NO HDR Tone-mapping.

If somehow I am able to ignore the lack of Dolby Vision in Samsung, then I would buy the Q90C “Hands down”. I Love the One Connect Box and it comes with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. Idk, if Dolby Vision is worth to ignore Q90C or not?!

Excuse me I just want to know something. I went to a store a the guy at the store told me that this TV has Dolby Atmos Built in speakers, and when I heard it it didn’t sound precisely as Dolby Atmos. I just want to know if they are telling me the truth, or if there’s any TV with Dolby Atmos built in speakers.
Because I also had the opportunity to try the A80L and the acoustic surface audio was amazing, but I think that it isn’t Dolby Atmos either.

I am surprised with the final statement. When I bought my TV 3 years ago, it was essentially: everyone's got LGs panels... prices are similar... get the one you like more. I got a Panasonic with pretty much the same good ratings as the LGs. As stupid as it sounds, the decisive thing was that the Panasonic had the incredible "innovation" to have a center table stand.

They are so confident laying it down and touching the top of the TV. When I got my Panasonic TX-55HZW100 three years ago, that was like "don't accept the parcel if it has been tilted" "keep it upright" "don't touch the upper part never ever". Do they just not care because... it is not their investment for the next 10 years or was I a bit naive believing these instructions? To be honest, I wished the TVs were just thick. The only argument to have it like this is.... to impress my friends???

Bought Sony A80l. Two hundred pounds extra, but saw them side by side on a popular terrestrial channel, BBC. Made must a bit of a nuisance in the shop. Wanted as similar setting as I could. Sorry Sony won the day. Costlier, yes, but well worth it, and I would always be wondering. Not now!

LG OLED is complete garbage if you’re going to use it for everyday normal TV viewing. After 3 years my 65E7P was completely ruined with color shading all over and image retention from channel logos. Worst part was LG customer service, strung me along making it seem like they were going to take care of it but refused in the end.

I would gone with C3, but s90c offering was just to compelling being way brighter at same price in Europe.
Especially as I was aiming at 77 size, with gen 2 panel at about 500 bits brighter than c3.
If C3 offered at least 1000 bits brightness or better price, would have gone with LG.

I recently "upgraded" my plasma tv to a C3 OLED. With high FPS 4k content it looks great, but with movies shot in 24p (which most movies are) I just cannot get used to the stuttering despite tweaking a lot of settings. The motion handling just isn't as good (to my eyes).

My Samsung's backlight failed after a few years-- and apparantly this is an extremely common problem with them and it usually happens just after the warranty runs out and Samsung does nothing to help its customers so I am now looking for alternatives and will never go back to Samsung. Perhaps it's time to give LG a try..

I just purchased a 48” C3 and am having it wall mounted once it arrived to be used as my PC monitor. 4K 120 Hz is perfect for my gaming use and while I’ve used 240 Hz monitors and can appreciate the slight difference, 120 Hz is still blazing fast on a 4K panel and I really feel no need to wait and pay more for a C4 that can do 144 Hz.

I’ve been viewing and gaming on a 1080p Panasonic Neo Plasma ST which i obtained after becoming frustrated with a 4k hdr Hisense led tv (not qled ) a few years ago.

I am waiting to pull the trigger either on a Sub £1000 Oled (£999 would be acceptable if the model is decent) or else a Samsung Frame qled. I really enjoy my current TV it’s far better than my previous Hisense bells and whistles TV but I’m hoping Oled is able get under that £1000 bar with a quality product. My Neo Plasma cost £250 reconditioned and complete with warranty last year and has high end fit and finish with a beautiful bezel. It blows away that previous TV with better contrast ,brightness, natural colours and gaming response. Oled and Qled are the technologies I have waited for but the gains must be worth paying far more money than £250.

Hey Caleb. 1st of all thanks for all your great reviews and related advices. I have been following you for quite sometime now. I got a question for you: my old Samsung LED gave it up and need a new 55" TV in my master bedroom which I always use to watch sport and movie since my wife is taking the big 75" Sony in the living room with my 2 daughters 🙂. In my mind I have the Hisense U8K ($799) or the LG OLED C3 ($1499) which they are both on sale right now. I saw both live (the C3 @ Costco and the Hisense U8K @ Best Buy). I really like both but cannot figure if saving some bucks with the Hisense and also buy a soundbar in the nea future or go with the C3. I love the picture of the C3 and I get 5 years warranty thru Costco for free. Best buy I need to buy a 2 year warranty which bring the total to approx. $1k. What you think?? Looking forward to your input.
Thanks in advance!
Giovanni

Looking at OLED through a 2012 LCD makes me feel I'm missing out. Was supposed to buy a while ago but the price wasn't right. It isn't now either. Guess $1k for 55" C4 would make me do it but they won't price it that low.
