ОтветитьWith the all-glass roof, would this car pass vehicle safety testing in the US? I thought cars needed a protection bar across the frame of the roof for rollover crashes.

ОтветитьThis thing can easily mow down the3 series nd C class or A4. And made the M3 C63 and S4 run for the money l. 0-100 under 4 second. That was the number you can brag all the time in the petrol world.

ОтветитьI have seen this car for real at Geely Design/Zeekr Design here in Gothenburg, Sweden, where it was designed (I worked there myself earlier this year). It was standing next to Lynk & Co "The Next Day Concept", from where it borrowed suprisingly much of its design. Never thought Lynk & Co would dare to do such a radical car.

ОтветитьI thought the front seat was really soft and shapeless compared to my 03+. At 6ft the seat does not go low enough and your head is into the roof/sunshade area and feels like you are going to bounce your head into the glass roof on the slightest bounce.

ОтветитьYes, this is extremely well executed car design in the proportions and overall lines. The details aren't anything special. But man, the proportions... I think the designers here have created something very special.

ОтветитьThis review was filmed before we learned that Zeekr would be buying out Volvo's shares of the Lynk & Co brand, giving them a 51% stake in L&C, with the remaining 49% going to Geely Auto (the mother company for all three brands). It's important to point out that I haven't heard any news saying that L&C will disappear or that they will merge with Zeekr to become a new brand, at least for now. I do think that this will ultimately happen, because even Geely admits that the two brands have too much overlap (as I discuss in this video!), and are competing with each other unnecessarily. The whole thing just seems like a way to shuffle money around Geely Group, including getting some emergency funding to Volvo and Polestar, both of which could really use it right now. It also indicates a much needed consolidation, because as I've stated multiple times, Geely has TOO MANY BRANDS.
