Resected GIST in 2013 from the small bowel. I was on Gleevac for three years. Now it has reoccurred again in 2019. All CTs until 2018 doesn't indicate anything but one in 2019 it shows one near to former location on the mesentery.

More than the effect of this medicine one should also explain and explore the side effect of these medicines you may not get the tumour again which is also not hundred per cent sure, but we will develop several irrecoverable diseases like diabetes, thyroid disease, lung disease and so on so forth so if you see the trade of having this medicine you see hardly any benefit.

So my brother diagnosed in 2016, was clean in 2019. Of course had partial stomach removal and most of his esophagus removed. He lives in small town in Indiana. He came to Florida and went to the Moffitt Center because he was having really bad issues with bile reflux. They had advised him to stop the Gleevec. That was it, they had no more answers. Finally his surgeon from UI agree to do a surgical procedure to remove his stomach, gallbladder and bypass indigestion to his small intestine. This still did nothing to relieve the bile. FF 2020 he had back surgery and neck surgery. He then had a testing done and found reoccurrence of GIST, in his liver, lungs and now possibly bone.

So from watching your video you stated that imanitab is not as effective if at all if there was a lapse of taking it. Is this true? Currently he is on 400 mg daily. He has KIT C gene. This cancer is horrible, it just keeps taking the body on a very slow basis. If there was anyway for an expertise to visit with him and take on his case that would be a prayer answered. He is 62 yo and is a fighter.

My dad was diagnosed in 2018 he is now at the point we’re the Dr. are saying there is nothing they can do now. May God gives these doctors the knowledge and skill they need to help people with this disease. My dad doesn’t have much time left but he always stayed strong throw all the trials and hardships truly an admiral man. If you know someone going through this and needs someone to talk to him here. Lord bless us with your healing hands.
