This statement has to be wrong, or Southern Rinascita has to really big, which means full Rinascita is even bigger, in order for the region south of Beohr Waters to still be in Rinascita.

According to rinascita sources like Zani in 2.1, septimont Is a region focused on technologies development and freedom. Unlike rinascita where you find the order control everywhere, and jinzhou with the military focused theme, septimont should be more carefree. They focus on implementing technology in echoes and humans, so people like xiangliyao and calcharo will be more common there. Of course those people made their fortune thanks to the tacetite mines, and businesses is huge there. I just hope they bring more male characters and more mecha implants, those would be very cool, even for female characters. It's fine to take inspiration from assassin's creed for architecture purposes, but I think the lore will be very different.

hi! i just played the game a while ago, like a week or so, and struggling with how to play this game bc this is the only game i've paid attention to. the only dmg dealer i got fro now is camellya, i want to know who to pull later in 2.3, between pulling phoebe + sign (as dps) carlotta + sign, or jinshi + sign. to be specific i love their design and they do big dmg too, but considering im a newbie and doesn't have decent sub-dps or support.. any advice?

note: i don't have shorekeeper yet, but im trying to pull her and hoping to win 50/50, but i don't mind in the end if i didn't get her.

I think you're being very diplomatic when you call these assassin's creed references! It feels very visually derivative in a way that feels a little... legally dubious? Or at least a little artistically disappointing, and I think the tracking you do over time makes it really clear how they've taken inspiration from it pretty directly.

If I didn't know better, I suspect they probably did not do a ton of research on italy or rome or antiquity but they did definitely played assassin's creed games or did some wiki dives. I've kind of felt that Rinascita's culture has felt like this simplistic pastiche of Italian city-states and contemporary pop culture since the 2.0 content, and if that's coming largely from Assassin's Creed it would make a lot of sense. I'm not expecting deep thoughtful research from them in all honesty, but I do kind of wish there was more to it than what it feels like right now.

I don't mean to sound too negative or harsh here, this is just how it honestly feels to me. There's lots of layers to the references of Huanglong that people have talked about and Rinascita IMO has felt more obviously shallow in this respect. I'm still having fun though!

If Zani is or was a gladiator from Septimont I think it will be interesting to explore that. Because remember that in the ancient Rome the gladiators were at the end of the day slaves forced to fight others. Nowadays slavery is a very delicated topic, if they were to make a story of a gladiator I think it will be interesting how they represent it, because for a game this a pretty delicate topic, specially for a Chinese game
