I don't think people realise how bad having a stalker is. I had a protection order and still couldn't go out. You are scared of being out with friends and them being hurt because of you. He took 3 years of my life. The police are frustrating until it clicks and they take you seriously

If the 'first date didn't go well' she knew he was bad news so why did she get involved with him?

I am appalled at court systems everywhere when it comes to penalties for stalking. What is wrong with our court systems that makes it a slap on the wrist to terrorize a person??

She is right about the love bombing but there were far too many warning signs that she missed with Dirty John. She chose Dirty John over her kids.
