I used to poke around the Internet for random exotic animals for sale (with NO intentions to buy any, of course!). Almost always were these websites seedy and a scam, and one of the most recognizible signs that they are a scam is if they “sell” any exotic animals that is otherwise illegal, or say things like “We Ship Internationally!” or list the returns process like you are returning an inanimate object.
You see, I not only love agriculture and industrial stuff, but I’m also an animal lover. I only support what’s sustainable and helping our planet and wildlife thrive. Please do not buy an exotic animal and just opt for a toy figure or a stuffed animal. That is why I only collect miniature toy figures of my favorite animals.

Any species being kept as a "pet", is a slave. This human is a brain dead slave master. The size of an animal does not mean you should keep it in a cage you cretin.

As an animal lover who wants to make sure they feel happy, I would love to own a ring-tailed lemur, if they were legal. That is however, if I can provide a lot of space for them and decorate it so that they feel home. And at least two lemurs, because they are social and need company.

But they are endangered, and will most likely never be legal where I live.

I've found "legit" sites where you can purchase exotic animals such as armadillos but I'm not sure if you should buy online and I know for a fact I don't live by any breeders at the moment (I LEGIT NEED TIPS ON WHERE TO BUY a baby ONE Well after its been nursed of course because I would never take an animal away from its mother at birth)

-I'm not sure if you can but I think I can also buy from a zoo or take in from a rescue
-I'll get my permit

And, I'm aware of the Leprosy thing AKA "Hansen's disease" but should I be worried about that when I finally purchase one? I've researched some of that as well and it said it shouldn't be an issue especially if you're buying a captive-bred one and leprosy isn't really a common issue anymore and if one has it there is finally a cure so no worries I guess ( MORE INSIGHT ON THIS LAST PART AS WELL as you mentioned in the video) Does it mainly apply to the wild ones?

You have some dumb things to say, Some people have the time and money and space to own a monkey, People that truly want the best for their monkey will do things in a manner that will keep a monkey happy and in good well being, I do not support people that buy one monkey that's a terrible idea people should own at least 2 monkeys if they do so so the monkeys have a mate to play and socialize with their own kind, People are not dumb like you make it out to be, you may think that way but others don't, I Worked with monkeys for many years I know how they are and I can understand there behavior, There's a channel on here called Mojo the Monkey, That monkey and the new one they just had is living their best life just as good as it would be within a troop maybe even better, they are Happy and clearly enjoy living with humans, Educate yourself please

You have to be licensed to own all of these animals. These people aren’t just buying and selling exotic animals for house pets. They are mostly educational or sanctuaries. This video is so ignorant.

I find it so cray cray that ppl own hedgehogs and I’m yet to see a British person own one. It might be Cus we’re used to seeing them (or at least my gen Cus they’re endangered now) I remember always hearing them as a kid scratching their itchy flea butts and we’d go give em a saucer of cat milk. We all knew never to help one across the road and we’d jus hope we wouldn’t see it flat on the way back home. Hedgehogs are so cute and it’s only I say in the last 10 years I’ve seen ppl (online) keeping them as pets, the thought never occurred to me. BUT the thought has occurred to me that skunks would be a cute pet or a possum and I know they’re kinda seen as pest type critters in their native countries so I think it’s a bit of this, “oooo we don’t have this here” kinda thing. But I cannot stand these kinds of ppl wanting to “trade” like they’re Pokémon cards. They shouldn’t have pets period, like wtf
