Rajivji..would appreciate if you could do a program inviting views on what RSS or other Hindi organizations can do on their own about increasing number of heinous rapes in our society. To really emancipate or help women, first they need to feel safe in the society. When we can come together to fight for temples or to maintain sanctity of our traditions, culture ..then why can't we come together to protect women of our society.
And i hope you would not support the idea expressed by few people that westernization is the cause of increasing rapes...As today rapes are being done to even few months or years old babies....let apart adolescents or young girls...this shows deteriorating level of men's thought process in society n not women's.

RSS should not stick to old ways, but should start making use of Facebook and Instagram in best possible way. Not just Hindi but English content should be supplied in a modernistic and catchy manner, along with making necessary use of memes and jokes to strengthen a particular idea among the youths of the country. People usually discard anything which is in Hindi, because they think English is superior language and if someone is speaking that he must be knowledgeable.

From my experience of seeing around, In most of the families (including mine), mother/women is the head of the family. This is irreplaceable and should remain the same.

I come from a Sangh Family - I am living in US from past 15 years and involved in HSS (VishwaVibhag of RSS). Women are MukhyaShikshikas, KaryaVahikas, they have responsibility in Vibhags, Sambhags etc. There are reasons for Sevika Samiti being seperate in India. But Sangh always believes in the concept that, women are the backbone of our culture and they are the main reason our culture sustained.

Sir I am a supporter of your cause. However if the dialogue is only focused on bringing women (only) back to the Indian roots then you can't convince the feminists. The idea should be to bring the whole house hold back to Indian roots. We have to also address the bad practices that have caused harm to our women.

In all aspects of life women are working WITH men but RSS wants to stick to Raj Kapoor era. The religion is because of women but RSS will not emancipate them. They have to lead themselves first, come to RSS then RSS will help them. What kind of logic is this? The ignorance about root cause of divorce, single motherhood and “westernization of women” is astonishing in this conversation or perhaps that should be expected from the old men from Raj Kapoor’s era, the person who never allowed women of his household to step outside the house and be independent. Wake up and do something towards the emancipation of women otherwise they will lose faith in you. When they will empower themselves without you, without the Hindu values, you will not have 50% population on your side.

If girls feel that their culture gives them equal freedom and rights, they will not try to seek it elsewhere. Divorce as a 'bad thing' is nothing compared to the horrors of domestic violence and a lifetime of bonded household labour where you dont get to dream. You cannot win over girls with the data on divorce or drinking. This will only make girls feel like you are taking away the option of leaving a bad marriage, or having a party. The right way to go is to have vedic/priesthood certification courses and having entertainment that shows Hinduism as modern and not all about Karwa Chawth.
