Wait a minute. Hold your horses. I don't see these things going on a scale to verify its weight!

There is very little "American" food if you think about it. All of it originated somewhere else and was brought here or alot is a derivative of another dish that was changed in some way to get what we eat now. Chinese food for example. I love it but do you think Chinese actually eat like that? I know some Asian chefs of Asian ethnicity and trust me, they don't eat Chinese/American food.
