Good point re high resistance on croc clips. Seen this with dirty, oxidized connections.

Question, I'm curious to wonder why you do the R1+R2 more than once, as your confirming the continuity of the cpc why do it more than once? I am genuinely curious. I agree record the worst result but if you were to use a long lead then you wouldn't need any line conductor at all. It's a conversation I've been having recently and would like your input.

Just do an R2 on three phase....I find it much easier rather than all that shorting out rubbish
