I grew up with the anime purple Dark Magician, so suffice it to say I am not the biggest fan of seeing the green skin dark magician getting all the legacy artwork when ever a new alternate art work pops up for Dark Magician, the anime purple Dark Magician is arguably one of the top 10 reasons the franchise ever became as popular as it is today, but nope it's the manga Dark Magician that gets to reap the benefits of the anime Dark Magician's hard work
