People dont know about pipe line and sales funnels. More than likely you can buy leads but also build your leads up with A.I.

I think the biggest factor in what you'll make, is the company you sell for.
This is my 3rd year in the insurance industry, I sell both P&C and life/health insurance.

Make sure your company pairs you fairly, you would be shocked at the commission rate difference between companies. I have seen anywhere from 15% all the way up to 90% on FYC (first year commissions) on annual premium rate.

Also brush up on your marketing skills, make your clients do your work for you with referrals!
The closing ratio of referrals is so much higher than a client that you found on your own.

The roof does not exist in this industry, sell as much as you can and live a good life!

Start at a company that will train you then transfer to entrepreneur or captive company. Nothing is impossible

(21m) I would much rather work 50 hours on a potentially scalable business for an average of 1250 a week as opposed to working 50 hours a week for 900 taxes dollars

5k is not impressive unfortunately. Better off working in tech sales or high ticket more merchant services sales

None of chargebacks, non of the stress. But all of the income

I was making a lot less than that when I was selling life insurance. I would spend between 200-300 per week just on gas for my car, plus extra maintenance costs. Some of the veteran agents I worked with were making about 50 k per year counting 25k in renewals.

This is irrelevant, it’s never about what you do, it’s how well you do it! And most people’s work ethic is below average lol people say this same stuff about literally every job in every industry. The average person could increase their salary by $30k by simply revising their resume and negotiating their salary, but do you think they will do it???! Absolutely not because average minds never do the most.

If you are a cashier at Walmart is that a pyramid scheme too?! Lol no matter what job you have, if you are not the CEO someone above you is hiring you and some people make more than you.

You could have asked how many hours/week these people work. From my experience, there are too many tricks the hiring companies can pull on you to go into the insurance business. Plus, don't forget that you are self-employed, so you have to pay a tax for that too.

@Peter Roberts I've been struggling to stay afloat, my dad has cancer and it honestly has made me work 110% harder because without my Dad it falls to me to provide for my mother and sister. Problem is I fight and fight to make this work but I seem to only be treading water. I am with Family First Life and Equity Financial and honestly I only have sold about 10 policies this month with one of those being a chargeback. I honestly have had to setup a seperate savings account and don't touch my income for 9 months because I never know what is going to be chargedback.

The difference is being an agent and being a agency owner. The owner will likely make more than his or her agents easily.

Can anyone confirm or deny these things for me.

sales history: 9 years, including cold calling, warm leads(form fill contact), inbound leads. All of which is over the phone and one call close driven aside from a few.
everything I have sold is as low as $500 up to $50k was my highest sale.

I worked in the moving industry the longest. its very competitive and its relatively high ticket, im very comfortable asking people for thousands of dollars without getting commission breath.

I'm pretty likable on the phone, ive got all the traits a good salesman would have in that regard. I can be whoever they need me to be for them(boy oh boy is that tiring though)

Im not gonna lie and say I was the number 1 guy at every company i went to like most salesman do in their interviews lol but I can confidently say i floated in the top 5 on the largest sales floor hitting different positions each month, including #1 😁😁 but lets say on average I was #3

before the moving industry fell apart, or maybe the company i worked for/lead provider idk for sure, I could average anywhere from 15-25k/month during season and 7-10k/month off season.

Every company i worked for in sales provided all the tools i would need to make money and there was no cap to my earnings. they provide leads, software, phones, computer, headset, desk etc etc

so with all of this in mind, would it be feasible for someone to get into the life insurance world and pull 6 figures their first full working year?

to pay my bills and save money each month I need to make 80k . 60k is week to week for me so thats not enough. im used to making 150-175ish depending on the year lol shit i mean 2020 was my record but thats off topic.

my thoughts on it are this, I thought life insurance would be a great product to sell and considering my experience with high ticket, highly competitive markets that I would fit right in and start earning right away, picking up steam as i learned the ins and outs and all the lingo.

so in conclusion, I NEED to make 80k, I WANT to make 125k. Am i way out of tune? or right in the pocket?

If you want to show the AVERAGE, you have to also include the negative values. They show the reality of how much agents are making REALISTICALLY. $5k is not correct
