MAY 2023 AUCTION HIGHLIGHT | Henderson Auctions Collector Motor Series

In May 2023 Henderson Auctions once again brought an incredible array of items to the block, attracting bidders from all over. Whether you're a collector, a dealer, or just curious, there's something here for everyone. And there was no shortage of supercharged thrills and amazing automobiles!

Auction Highlights:

1963 Studebaker Avanti R2: This highly original classic sold for $32,500. The 1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 is a rare and iconic American sports car that turns heads with its bold design and powerful performance. This particular Avanti is finished in a stunning Hot Rod Red paint that accentuates the sleek lines of the body, with a Fawn interior that provides a tasteful contrast.

1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu: A true American muscle car icon, the Chevelle SS attracted significant attention for its powerful engine and timeless style. Finished in a blue exterior over a white and black interior. Powered by a Small Block Chevrolet V8 mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission, with American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial tires. This beauty sold for $20,000.

1965 Pontiac Catalina: 1965 Pontiac Catalina Ventura finished in Teal Turquoise over Turquoise interior. Equipped with the 389 Cubic-Inch V8 topped with a Holley Sniper fuel injection (Original four-barrel carburetor included) ended up selling for $22,000.

1937 Dodge Humpback Sedan Delivery: This ageless wonder sold for $8,500 and has a new vinyl wrap that is removable to have the original body painted. It came with an all steel body, 1969 Chevrolet 327 C.I.D. engine with cam upgrade, 4 barrel carburator, GM turbo 400 auto transmission, Ford 9 inch rear end, Fenderwell headers, new Flowmaster dual exhaust, and much more.

2019 Maserati Levante Trofeo: The ultimate expression of a Maserati performance SUV. It has a Ferrari Built 590hp 3.8L twin-turbo V8 engine with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with manual mode. This Levante can reach top speeds of 187 mph and accelerate from 0-60 mph in as low as 3.8 seconds! It’s worth every penny of the $88,000 the buyer paid for it.
