As a Canadian, (from Vancouver) I will admit the States played a great game. And if there is one American that I will accept defeat to, it's the Canuck, Ryan Kesler.

And years later, Kesler is still diving

great effort by Kesler, horrible announcing by Emrick as usual...most annoying voice I've ever heard, i think.

If you thought that goal Ryan Kesler scored on Team Canada's empty net was exciting Mr. Olympic play-by-play announcer. You should have seen the goals he scored for the Vancouver Canucks.

Um, that's Doc Emrick. Probably the greatest man to call the game, Mr. I sit at home all day making useless comments.

Kesler was doing what he does best, on his home ice in Vancouver lol. At least it worked out for us, then payback was a bitch and we got stuck with silver -__-

mike emrick's called the men's olympic ice hockey was insane at 0:10. He's terrible.

Yeah a country that was throwin under the bus from the start of the Olympics beat Canada then played Canada again in the gold medal round and lost in overtime and got silver and the team was pretty much all kids against a Veteran Canadian team....Yeah a really shitty country in hockey..

Rick Jeanneret is Canadian. Wouldn't have teh same enthusiasm. Now if you were to be talking about the OT goal in the gold medal game, THEN a call by Jeanneret would be appropriate.

I'd prefer Pat Foley or Bob Chase.

that was just complete all out effort by Kesler, you could tell by that play that the USA wanted this game more than Canada did

Best empty net goal, ever! IMO. As a huge Blackhawks fan, I always loved to hate Kesler. After these Olympics, I learned to like him.
