John did sing on his song Out Of Blue: every day I thank the Lord and Lady; that would be Jesus Christ, and his mother The Blessed Virgin Mary, so I’m very glad John did acknowledge this in his lyrics. As for Imagine, beautiful melody and arrangement, but horrible lyrics. I guess his intention was universal peace and love, but it sounds more like a Communist/atheistic ideal of philosophy.
