Looking like JD Vance with that shiner.
Ответитьgreat video, I'm going to a competition in a few weeks and I needed this dude, thanks
ОтветитьCongrats on persevering and pushing past your mental barriers! The judge in your first match is my kata sensei. She's AMAZING!!!!
ОтветитьThese comps should be done in wetsuits and covered in lube. These baggy dated clothes must gotta’ go.
ОтветитьVery proud of you 🤍
ОтветитьI’ve watched a few of your videos, very inspirational. Keep it up!
As a full time athlete and competitor it’s nice to hear others express the same mental struggle. 🤙
Great job on the videos! Keep them coming and you’re doing great 🔥
ОтветитьGood video my guy, good message. Good days and bad days, we have them all, but not everyone let's the world see those bad days. So props on that!
ОтветитьGreat video. You should come up to canada for some Judo, big scene up here. The Edmonton international and the Matsuru cup would be great tournaments to go to. Good luck in your journey!
Ответить47yo
About to do my first judo tournament this Sunday at the Dallas open/presidents cup.
Novice fat and old division.
Probably 1st and last.
Arthritis in the shoulders.
But gonna go out in a blaze.
Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьGreat video bro. Even though you were going through some adversity you still pushed through.
ОтветитьSan Jose has a strong judo. Local tournament or not. Good on you.
ОтветитьPersonally i think the video would have been better talking more about your experience, the day and the fights rather than the insperation pep talk speach.
Ответитьsome sweet ushiro goshis and sumi gaeshi type stuff. way to hang in there!
Ответитьgood job fighting through dude
ОтветитьHey man just relax it s only Judo. Just remember leave the muscles behind. Build techniques. You can build speed and speed and strength on technique but not the other way around. Losing a tournament does not mean you suck at judo.
ОтветитьWierd. I see Your video how You smashed Your eye into Your opponent. I did the same thing on my recent training but with nose/teeth... Did o uchi gari in randori and smashed my face nt o my opponent's skull. Black eye looks bad ass :D For the ladies :D:D
ОтветитьThe eye thing kind of makes it look like you only did half your makeup.
ОтветитьDude your amazing thank you for this posting! Famtastic
Ответитьyou need to egg massage and good job
ОтветитьExcellent video. Power to you. Inspired me to compete at Judo next year
ОтветитьJudo is no joke... 30 years I started it AFTER 15 years of Karate. I got my brown in about 8 months and my instructor threw me to the wolves. Browns mostly competed in the Black Belt division!! many life lessons learned. great vid!
ОтветитьIncredible point of view!! The thoughts on courage were phenomenal.
ОтветитьLove this video!
ОтветитьThe gentle way!!
ОтветитьThank you man, i really needed to hear that
ОтветитьJosh: “Am I just doing this for my ego and pride?”
Vegeta: “Damn right!”
Bro. Ura Nage in the novice division. Respect.
Ответить@josh you fight very good, easily could be a green belt in Judo....
ОтветитьI would love for you to visit Chicago, come by to my Renzo’s gym. We love to have you sharing knowledge and experience with us.
ОтветитьThat was awesome!! Congrats!! :)
Ответитьgreat video man, and nice comeback
ОтветитьI’ve done BJJ once and am a 1st Kyu (Brown belt) in Judo and I gotta say, I absolutely love your videos man - especially the Judo ones 👀
Well done on getting out there man, not easy to do but you’re smashing it so far 👏
PS man, the Judogi looks wicked on you 🔥
Llol we know the bjj ego.😂
ОтветитьJudo tournaments are so hard bc they have so many constraints. Im a bjj guy who came from a wrestling background, so no legs kills me. Hope we follow the IJF to allow some back. Judo is fun though. I find that they are less nerve racking.
ОтветитьYour good man
ОтветитьWhat Gi are you wearing, it looks really nice 👍
ОтветитьThis video hit me just at the right time at the right moment, thanks.
ОтветитьWhy no submitions? What a Bullshit rule I can understand it if thaniotoshi or uranage are forbidden because they can cause brain injurys but submition? what shall happen ? If the refs are smart they stop the fight early enough or the loser taps out. I will be 30 in 2 years and I don't think submitions have ever been a problem. Who ever made this rule has no clue
ОтветитьBad days are just here to make your good days more valuable.
ОтветитьGambatte!!!!!! Strong judo spirit! If you ever find yourself in Houston TX come see us at Grounddwellers BJJ and Judo in Spring. You are already learning one of the most important lessons. The man who pushes himself further will likely be met with defeat much more than success. Or as one of my Sensei used to say, 'if you find yourself at the top of your class it's time to change classes".
Ответитьwtf are these tournaments bruh
ОтветитьThanks Josh. Feeling the same way today. I needed to hear that. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьGg🎉
ОтветитьWe care!
