Confederate soldiers captured wearing Union uniforms would be fair game to be executed on sight instead of being taken prisoner right?
ОтветитьAww, not a word about Clara Barton. She took a bullet through her dress while giving water to wounded men and wrapping their wounds. She was just as heroic as the men!
ОтветитьI didn't realize they had telegraph during the war
ОтветитьI thank god that the north won
ОтветитьMy friend linked this to me... I watched it a day too early. (Tomorrow is the 161st anniversary of the battle.)
Ответить“…facial hair pioneer General Ambrose Burnside.” 😂👍🏻
ОтветитьCorrection, 12410 American's died defending America. 10317 traitors gave up their lives for an ultimately lost and pointless cause.
ОтветитьYou end the video too early! The last attack was the attack that was never made! McClellan declined to commit HIS reserves against the depleted Confederate army, graciously allowing Lee to withdraw, mauled, but intact. McClellan accepted a draw, with mate in sight (seconded by Polk, however.) McClellan was rightfully removed. Credit to AP Hill. Have always wondered why Hill then failed Lee at Gettysburg....
ОтветитьI asked lots of friends and my parents and they both said they thought Gettysburg was the bloodiest, so sad that this horrible battle is so forgotten
Ответить(Sharpsburg)
Ответитьive been to dunker church
ОтветитьAlmost hard to believe no one hardly even knows the name of this battle let alone it’s significance
ОтветитьBro. Cotton didn’t make it out of the south during the war, the US Navy blockaded southern ports. The confederacy was never recognized by any other country and thus had no export markets.
ОтветитьNo::
ОтветитьThis is the most bloodiest battle in us history So really only Americans have F**k americas up we built different
ОтветитьGreat interactive history of the bloodiest day in American History. A Teenager’s Guide to the Civil War: A History Book for Teens gives an overview history of the Civil War for Teens.
ОтветитьKinfederate. Didn't know that there were black confederate regiments.
ОтветитьWhen you consider how the Civil War is still, by far, the bloodiest war the US has ever seen and the way blacks complain today as they are not enjoying the best economy and the most wealth any blacks have ever experienced in any country on Earth, it makes me sick.
Ответитьwearing the uniform of the enemy and attacking is a war crime.
ОтветитьHonestly I think the war would of been lost if that note had not been found
ОтветитьCapitalism kill people all the time.
ОтветитьWow, there's a lot of wheat in that cornfield.
ОтветитьCivil war part twos about to come out and this is the “Empire Strikes Back” kinda sequel.
ОтветитьGod bless the south. This country is in turmoil even since the 1860s.
ОтветитьI just attempted to download you’re game and it’s not free
ОтветитьPretty much any time mid western units entered the battle in the eastern front the south suffered heavily in battle
ОтветитьThis is the proof that General Lee is a fraud, you can't beat McClellan ? You're weak lol
ОтветитьI've helped set up the Illumination 3 times. It is a very long 2 days of setting up and then you go out and light them all on Saturday night. So beautiful, so sad, so unfortunate.

McClellan when he has the chance to cripple the confederacy and become a legend forever: 👁️👄👁️
ОтветитьWhy is jschlatt in the thumbnail
ОтветитьIs that Jschlatt?(thumbnail)
Ответитьmansfield was not killed by friendly fire
ОтветитьThat corn field looks an awful lot like a wheat field haha
ОтветитьNgl I thought the soldier on the thumbnail is young Sheriff Holmes from Age of Empires 3 Warchief, the Shadow Campaign?
ОтветитьAn ancestor of mine was killed at Antietam, 14 year old in the Union on my grandfathers side, my grandmothers great great grandmother had a house outside of Sharpsburg and watched and helped wounded Confederate soldiers before and during the battle as well, she said the blood was up to the horses necks in Bloody Lane. Story has been passed down through my family ever since
ОтветитьMcClellan was an outstanding general when his back was to the wall or in defence of the nation, alongside good in logistics, organization, generally keeping the army in top shape, etc. He was definitely the right choice for the early war eastern theatre where most generals were not used to fighting the confederacy and with misconceptions that they would surrender easily.
Ответить162 years today
ОтветитьHad this battle for a project this video would’ve helped me if I knew it existed
ОтветитьSo OverSimplifed was right about McClellan?
ОтветитьMy god, these ads
Ответитьlotsa pushes with a Hooker
ОтветитьA truly rare event “Mclelan decides to attack”
ОтветитьWas just there yesterday
Ответитьthe rarest words: "McCellan decides to attack."
