Appreciate your videos
thank you
Blessings
Well done...
ОтветитьI loved your Explanation about room treatment & stage treatment to achieve great sound for the listener.
The band to me sounded Good I like the clarity of the sound
Great looking videography. Great job Dylan
ОтветитьThese type churches say all the right things and then murder the gospel. they almost crucify Jesus anew.
ОтветитьCurious that they did all primeacoustic panels. Great margin on those guys, but at 2” deep you’re not doing much for low frequency control.
ОтветитьYikes. 100k for a strip mall church. Seems like a temporary location. Whatever works.
ОтветитьWe have RCF 5 or 6 speaker arrays hanging from the ceiling, along with 10 stage speakers. There are also two subs under the stage. This set up handles some serious output. Such an improvement in quality over our older system.
ОтветитьOne more thing, you should throw away that Behringer piece of shit wing in the trash an get a nice professional quality mixer.
ОтветитьThe cuts in the video are just driving me mad... it'slikeyoujustremoveallthespacesbetweenthewords. It doesn't flow. It just sounds "hyper" like you're worried that a listener will lose interest between 2 words? IDK It's not necessary in a 23min video.
ОтветитьI'm a Meyer Sound integrator. The beauty is you have a system that has been tuned and your room has been treated so now you do not have to defensively mix but you can mix to tone instead. That's what we have preached for years and years and years. If you get your PA right and your room right then your job as a mix engineer becomes so much easier
ОтветитьSomebody's gonna say, you should've spend those money by giving to homeless, poor and all , Ahhhhhh myan c'mon no more that stupid comment
ОтветитьWaste of money... sorry
ОтветитьYou told it. One of the keys of a good PA system is the intelligibility and clarity of the sound. I've worked with PA Meyer Sound systems, it's the best for me. Unfortunately, not all churches can't afford it.
ОтветитьHey bro!! So i work over at Calvary South OC! And I was wondering if you’d like to come down and check out our church an system and see if you’d want to do a video on it?
ОтветитьSo basically 90% of your Quality Issue was "Acoustics".
ОтветитьGod doesn’t care about your line array sound system. You aren’t there for your pleasure, you’re there to worship God with what you have. Don’t be deceived by these phony distracted hipster churches.
ОтветитьThat's amazing. Wish my church could grow to the point where there's money to spend on extravagant systems.
ОтветитьThanks for the case study. It's really great to see what others are doing. My church has a Yamaha TF3. I noted you guys pulled out a TF5 a in this case. What is the advantage of replacing one digital console with another?
ОтветитьIt's Linear System, what comes in,is what goes out.
ОтветитьMeyer Line Array with an Behringer Console?🤔
ОтветитьI'm not even a sound guy. But this is incredible, more life and god bless for a quality sound system.
ОтветитьImagine if Jesus Christ comes today and visit that church and hear the upgraded sound…He would think that today human also are performing miracles!
Spend that money to help the poor people…. Please!
Why a line array for such a low ceiling?
ОтветитьMeyer sound is awesome
ОтветитьSounds like the church business is boomin'!
ОтветитьNice to have a great sound engineer, but if you have a nice engineer and nice sound system, that's definitely a huge blessing for the church.
ОтветитьMy home church could benefit from something like this so much, (on a smaller scale) but the pastor just doesn’t want to see the value.
ОтветитьHomes for houseless people ❌
$100,000 for a speaker system ✅
We had octane install subs, sound panels and a Galaxy 816 back in 2022, and I can confirm they are both incredible people and highly professional. Greg was a pleasure to work with, and Chris was kind enough to let me watch his process as he dialed in our PA. Our room has never sounded better.
Ответитьwhy do you have to make such idiotic facial expressions in the preview pic.
ОтветитьGreat speakers baffled as to why ya’ll still mixing on a behringer wing
Ответитьbeing able to trust and use the main mix for broadcst is golden!
ОтветитьNot to be a downer but it looks like you dumped 100k and the room is barely half full
ОтветитьMeyer + Wing? come on!!
ОтветитьSerious question (Not a criticism I really want to know): Why go with Meyer over L-Acoustics? Is it a price thing? Or is there not that much difference and L-Acoustics is overhyped? I'm curious.
ОтветитьPA has to go where PA has to go. BOOM!!
ОтветитьGreat speakers, subpar mixing console.
ОтветитьJesus sure likes to sound good...
Ответить100k in speakers and yall still use a behringer desk
ОтветитьHeck yeah!! Octane AVL is the best!! 🖤
ОтветитьWhat is with all the haters and whiners?
ОтветитьMost expensive in the world speakers.
ОтветитьFing stupid. Supoosed to help the poor
ОтветитьThis PA is Endorsed by Jesus himself. Lol real-life Righteous Gemstones here. GOD wants us to be entertained!!! Praise Jesus!
ОтветитьSo sad thus is what church has become. The Appostles would not approve.
ОтветитьAaron here from South Fellowship Church. I wanted to mention a few things as a follow-up to this video. I agree with everything Jake said, but there are a few hidden variables that we have been learning since the system has been in there for a few weeks. First, the limitation for quality is no longer the room or the PA; it is the band and the audio engineer. Muddy bad sound reflection covers a lot of mistakes. Now, if the band messes up, everyone can hear it. If the mix is not balanced well, it is even more pronounced. This is NOT bad; it just means the team needs to raise the bar again on our precision. Second, we have had to do some extra training on how to use reverb from the console. The old setup had lots of room reflection. We must be more accurate with our reverb effects and the sustain time of it. If we mix it too wet or the sustain is too long for the song's tempo, people can perceive that the reverb is not natural but has an added effect (it is distracting). Finally, the system is very directional now. Without the room reflections, the sound only comes from the PA rather than the PA and the walls. That is a good thing, but I have had a few (maybe 2) people mention that they only hear something in one ear. When I ask them how they are standing, I notice they are facing only the side of their head toward the PA. They didn't seem upset about it, but it was a different feeling than before. Most people are used to rooms with reflective noise.
After a few weeks, I'm thrilled with the system, and we are mixing fuller sounds at a lower decibel than before. We can hear the band and the congregation singing better because of that. I wouldn't recommend you make a change like this with a promise of that outcome, but it is a bonus to quality. Quality sounds full at lower volumes.
