Hi i havent been able to move my whats app for years. I am stuck with my old phone. I have possibly over 100gb of whats app data and it doenst backup properly. The phone size isnt showing correctly due to the icloud grey area. So there may be more on whats app than i can see. What do you think about the potential for data loss. Can the QR code guarantee a move of all data? is it likely that i will lose recent calls?? and what else could i lose? Thank you!

I’m getting to see this now I wan t to ask can I back up or move specific chats from one device to another instead of the whole chats
I have unnecessary chats and trying to specify the particular ones to be moved

Thank you so much man, for some reason the page to automatically restore chats didn't appear in my new phone. So I had to do it manually just like your second part of the video. Now I have the chat history back, really thank you for your help

Thanks for this very useful way of transferring all WhatsApp data. I must have watched it several times. I have a question, can you merge different backup files together? For example if one has a saved backup file(s) that weren't used to transfer to a new phone and started using the new phone but had no previous chats .... Is it possible or is there a way to import the old backup chats and media to the new phone after using WhatsApp? I hope you understood what I mean. Thanks
