"Please don't knock any dogs out" - Brilliant. What a guy, I could listen to Joe all day long. He's so refreshingly honest and normal.
ОтветитьUsed to skate with joe back in the day such a sound guy 👍🏼
ОтветитьGreat interview/talk with such a great guy. Definitely one of my favorite people from what I've seen and heard.
Ответитьlove this episode
ОтветитьGet Shane Meadows on!!!!
ОтветитьI've listened to it for about 10 times. I love to listen to joe. Really calms me down.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this episode! Such a genuine and honest guy. I’ve always appreciated Joe’s work so much and the power he puts into his roles, such an incredible actor. I really struggle with my mental health too and it never goes away. He inspires me so badly to work in the industry, to tell stories and to stay honest.
Keep up the hard work with this podcast, it’s my new favourite.
Interesting and honest interview. Great podcast.
ОтветитьThis podcast was really interesting! Joe’s summed up Chorley 😂 There seems to be a Trevor and his wife brawling on every street in Chorley I think 😂 I’m a Chorley girl not knocking it 😜
ОтветитьThis really was a lovely podcast- so happy I found. I love listening to such genuine people and just love Gilgun.
ОтветитьAwwww Joeee it's all fake lol most of the time anyway haha. I've come to notice people who like to seem overly happy and have the perfect life on social media are usually hiding something. And don't worry about your body lol it's glorious! Bahaha! You are a sexy man beast. Between you and Dom on Preacher my husband is getting alot of action lately. 🤣😂🤣😂 I struggle with Bipolar disorder and anxiety myself it's absolutely fucking horrid! But if you're ever having an anxiety attack my doctor gave me a tip.... A strange tip but it works. Pick 3 things in the room, for example the wall, a clock and a cup lol and just say those words over and over then your panic attack just disappears. Always works for me lol!
ОтветитьI'm posting this where I can. Joe Gilgun gets my vote for the quintessential Joker. The guy was born for the role.
ОтветитьAdore you Joe Gilgun. I could listen to you talk all day long!! 😘
ОтветитьI absolutely love Joe Gilgun!!! Such an amazing actor and down to earth person. So glad to hear how this type of work helps with the mental health issues. I do background stuff and it helps me as well. Bipolar is almost debilitating sometimes, from personal experience. Thank you Joe for sharing so much! You’ve made me feel so much better about myself.
ОтветитьI love you Joe, you're amazing! You're such a strong person 💖
Ответитьamazing podcast
ОтветитьI fucking love Joseph 😂 tbh he's my ideal fella. "Just had spliff int garden"
ОтветитьJoseph is so real compare to all those fake fucks in industry. Love the guy. Thanks for the podcast!
ОтветитьGreat interview. Joseph comes across as a nice northern lad
ОтветитьGot to say Hoe is a top bloke. I am completely SHOCKED that in a 1h podcast not 1 single mention of This is England and the cast dynamics. The character Joe has played. Really missed opportunity with the questioning. I hope he goes on scroobius pip distraction pieces podcast. Joe 10/10 interviewer 1/10. Sorry
ОтветитьIn my day to day it's very difficult to express how I feel, i definitely am uplifted hearing a guy like Joe being expressive of similar experiences. This clip has done me an awful lot of good

ОтветитьMy new favourite podcast! Joseph gilgun is king of pain we LOVE him!
ОтветитьLoved this episode. Joe comes across as such an honest, genuine, lovable guy!! He’s a brilliant actor, who always gives an amazingly authentic performance! He gives himself such a hard time, but he’s doing a great job!!
ОтветитьIt's rare for me to feel someone's heart this clearly. Joe feels like he's come a long way in terms of personal development.
ОтветитьWhat a dude. Keeping it 100% real.
ОтветитьCyclothymia, Bipolar 3, very similar to Borderline personality disorder.
ОтветитьPlease get him back on 😭 could listen to him all day long
ОтветитьCould listen to him chat all day he’s so fascinating
ОтветитьGreat podcast 💯% classic Joe bloody brilliant
ОтветитьJoe is a fucking legend! I love how real he is, no shit with Joe, genius! Xx
ОтветитьPoor guy poor me
ОтветитьIt's rare to come across a talented person who's fortunate enough to be in the public eye that doesn't actually thrive on being so twenty-four-seven with constant streams of rubbish. I would love to have more of this guy, I really would, but I'd rather have less of him whilst being open and genuine over more and a load of rubbish.
As someone who's from the north and struggles with mental health and learn difficulties, I can completely relate to everything he's saying, and I think it goes for everyone regardless of what profession you're in. But it is nice to hear about it from someone who can get their voice out there and remind people that there's nothing wrong with having those struggles and there's nothing wrong with you as a person, and that it doesn't mean you're thick or stupid, it just means you might need a little extra help in certain areas or need to focus on finding that one thing you are good at that does improve your overall life whenever you're able to part-take in it.
Honestly, I could listen to him ramble on in all directions all day, it's something I do myself - I'll start out on about one thing and go off on a million tangents until either someone reminds me to answer the question or I ask what the hell it was to begin with - and where his mind goes it always adventurous and intriguing, and he's definitely someone who gets you thinking and makes you laugh and kind of helps distract from how rubbish things can be sometimes. He's beyond refreshing, and it's like hearing someone from around where I live, his accent/dialect is familiar, and it's nice to have someone from up north who's made his way in the world and worked hard for it, and now it's showing not just improving the lives of the masses, even for a short time, but his own as well. You can tell he loves doing what he's doing and that he puts everything into it, and I hope he keeps on doing well in the future. And look at him, now, getting Brassic going from those adventurous tales he tells where he's played a huge part in making it as well as acting in it. I'm pleased for him.
Love this guy . Joe ❤️
ОтветитьLove Joe Gilgun as an actor, yet I love him more as a person, the vulnerability he shows in this podcast only goes to show, we all have tough days/lives but as long as you get up every day and push yourself that little bit harder.... You're smashing life ✨👌🏻. Fair play, Joe. I live with a traumatic brain injury from an accident I had when I was 2 years old (I'm 40 now), and life is skatty on a daily basis for me, so I can empathise xx
Ответитьomg i'm nearly at the end, and just realised I kept thinking it's nearly at the end because of the way the colour is lighter on the beat line! hahaha
ОтветитьOu, russian subs 🤤
ОтветитьCame here to listen to Joe’s mental health journey from the other video that popped up. I can relate on every level. I have to find things to keep my brain centred. Or I’m constantly obsessing in my head. So for the last two years I did my families genealogy research. It definitely has kept me from going crazy on a few occasions … it’s good to channel that anxiety into projects I find.
Plus I found out Orson Welles is my eighth cousin so that was cool. LOL
CYCLOTHYMIA!

ОтветитьI really love Joe. He’s definitely my favorite actor! I’d just love to smoke a bowl and chat. ❤️
If anyone needs someone to talk to, I’m here. If you’re reading this and suffering, here’s a virtual hug! 🤗 I’m glad you’re alive, so don’t give up!
Also, all the flaws he mentions, or problems, they don’t put me off. At all. I’ve dated a lot of assholes, so I just care about the person’s heart. If he doesn’t beat me up, that’s an upgrade.
It's very, very rare that a TV shows get better in later series especially when actors are changed, but Misfits was at its pinnacle with you 2 lads in it! I just finished watching it for the second time and can't wait for 2 or 3 years time when I will have forgotten enough of it to watch it again! 😂👌
ОтветитьI love this guy, he's everything I'd want in a best friend. He's so real you'd never feel embarrassed to tell him anything, he's fabulous in every kind of way. Some one needs to speak up for men's mental health and I think he does it so amazingly. He's so brill xx
ОтветитьI think he’s absolutely amazing!! And to think he thinks he has nothing to offer anyone wow!! Everyone needs a Joe Gilgun in their life! Great podcast.
ОтветитьWas so good to meet you at rock climbing Joe legend always respect bruva
ОтветитьIt's a much better idea not to have social media for an actor because there are a lot of dangerous people online, better stay away, better for mental health anyway. Also actors don't post themselves, so what exactly is the point of having a PR person posting for the actors? Better not have an account. Also people only show the good parts of their lives, which is probably 10% of their lives.
ОтветитьIt's a shame that you can't ask him any direct questions. After years, I managed to go to rehabilitation, seek help, and now I'm sitting in the hospital because they found crappy kidney values in the rehab. I'm trying to be strong, like Joe said in an interview... You can be proud of the things you've survived so far.
