I love how all the pickup positions sound full and smooth, unlike many single-coils that tend to be a bit piercing and thin. It also sounds pretty much identical to my Schecter California Classic, which has overwound SSH pickups. While listening to you demoing the pickup positions, I was playing my California Classic right along with you and they sounded identical to my ears in all pickup positions.

the old saying you get what you pay for but if I was in the Market and if their was more 0's in the bank account I would look Suhr instead of Fender ,quick point around 5 years ago Jon I asked your advise on a JHS Vintage V6P 3 P90 Strat Style guitar with American Alder Body and Canadian Hard Maple Neck with Rosewood 12 inch fret radius during your live chant it's a light at 11 pounds I still have the guitar , when you buy a guitar you have no idea about it , but then grow into loving it , you learn the difference nuances, roll down the volume do those volume swells noise cancelling allows to get those woman tones with the gain up, it has been a great find and keeper , now rare model since they stop making them in 2017 , yes Jon your right this guitar can get loud , but it also can get just right, thought to bring that story up, 5 years certainly goes by fast ,

Nice guitar, always love your playing Jon... but Suhr are way overpriced, like most american guitars are today. I bought a Squier CV Strat Copy for $350. It plays and sounds amazing. One day you should do a review on a Squier CV.
